After the terror unleashed on Lake Victoria, the pre-historic school of blood thirsty piranhas are back. This time, no one is safe from the flesh eating fish as they sink their razor sharp teeth into the visitors of summer's best attraction, The Big Wet Water Park.

Christoper Lloyd reprises his role as the eccentric piranha expert with survivor Paul Scheer and a partially devoured Ving Rhames back for more fish frenzy. The world's most famous lifeguard David Hasselhoff aka ‘The Hoff', trades in the sandy beaches of Baywatch to be a celebrity lifeguard at the racy water park.

The film begins in 1980 with Pamela Voorhees (Nana Visitor) attempting to murder her last female victim in a bid to avenge her son Jason (Derek Mears)'s death. However, the girl manages to escape after cutting off Pamela's head: an act which the young and apparently alive Jason witnesses from the woods. Events then skips to the present day with a group of teenagers set to go camping at Camp Crystal Lake, the scene of previous atrocities. Inevitably, one by one, they run into the machete-wielding, hockey-masked Jason who's back to do some slashing.
