Thomas Kretschmann and Rutger Hauer star in Dario Argento's take on the famous vampire story. When Tania (Asia Argento), a young woman, is attacked and killed by a mysterious dark shadow in the woods on her way home from meeting her lover, she emerges days later having been turned into a vampire. As she tries to seduce and bite anyone who gets in her way, vampire hunter Van Helsing (Hauer) traces her every move, plotting a way to kill her once and for all.

Italian horror maestro Michele Soavi presents this gothic tale of satanic rituals and end-of-the-millenium apocalypse. A schoolteacher (Kelly Leigh Curtis) is inducted into the Sect of the Faceless Ones, seduced by the charisma of its leader (Herbert Lom), and faces a series of terrifying ceremonies and ritualistic killings.

Dario Argento directs this staged production of Verdi's opera based on William Shakespeare's tragedy. Recorded at the Teatro Coccia in Novara, Italy, the performance stars Giuseppe Altomare as Macbeth, Giorgio Giuseppini as Banquo and Dimitra Theodossiou as Lady Macbeth. Giuseppe Sabbatini conducts the Orchestra Filarmonica del Piemonte and the Schola Cantorum San Gregorio Magno.
