12 approaches to reducing chronic pain. Scripts are provided which
can be used for: self-hypnosis, relaxation, meditation,
mindfulness, focussing, changing the pain's meaning, changing the
feeling of the pain, and desensitization. Two special clinical
techniques are also presented; one taken from EMDR (a reprocessing
method) and the other from classical hypnosis (The Eye-Roll
technique). Any of these techniques can be used at any time,
anywhere. Most of them can produce benefits if used for 20 minutes,
twice a day.
