In Eavesdropping on God, the reader has the privilege of
"listening" in on the conversations, questions, and struggles that
one man faces, which are not unfamiliar to many Christians. Book
Four, Glimpses of Hope, covers how hope in God not only sustains my
life, but also blesses me beyond measure. We sometimes face trials
and tribulations that seem hopeless, but as you journey through
this devotional, you'll come to see that our hope in God is never
baseless or begrudging. -Dave Jeffers
David Jeffers is an author, Bible teacher, and daily devotional
writer. Many of his devotional readers have encouraged him to begin
publishing his devotionals in book format. This first book, "Shouts
of Joy," is the first in a series titled "Eavesdropping on God: One
Man's Conversations with the Lord." The reader has the privilege of
"listening" in on the conversations, the questions, the struggles,
that one man faces that are not unfamiliar to many Christians. Sit
back, enjoy a daily devotional for the next month. There are 30
devotionals arranged in alphabetical order by title. Although these
words are from one man's life, you will be amazed and blessed by
their application to your everyday life.

Three, Whispers of Grace, covers how the grace of God has not only
redeemed my life, but also blessed me beyond measure. We tend to
think at times that God owes us, but as you journey through this
devotional, you'll come to see that the Lord's grace is one of His
most precious gifts to us. -Dave Jeffers
In Eavesdropping on God, the reader has the privilege of
"listening" in on the conversations, questions, and struggles that
one man faces, which are not unfamiliar to many Christians. I
borrowed the term, Eavesdropping on God, from my pastor Dr. Dennis
Brunet. When he is preaching, Dr. Brunet will talk directly to one
individual and tell him or her, "Can I talk to you for a bit? We'll
just let the others eavesdrop." Book Two, Echoes Of Mercy, covers
how the mercy of God has not only covered the author's life, but
also blessed him beyond measure. In some of these experiences,
God's mercies may not be obvious-but like the Prophet Jeremiah we
can be sure they are there: "Through the Lord's mercies we are not
consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every
morning; great is Your faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22-23) Sit
back and enjoy a daily devotional for the next month. There are 30
devotionals arranged in alphabetical order by title. For some, I
have included the original dates to help the reader better relate
to the writing. Although these words are from one man's life, you
will be amazed and blessed by their application to your everyday
life.
