When her husband, the ruler of a Celtic clan, dies, Queen Boudicca (Siān Phillips) takes the throne. Though the late King promised half of his land to the Romans upon his death, this isn't enough to satisfy the merciless Roman Procurator, Catus Decianus (Nigel Hawthorne), who wants more. Queen Boudicca and her clan may well be forced to fight the might of the Roman Empire if they are to maintain their own kingdom and Celtic identity.
