Romantic novelist Joan Wilder (Kathleen Turner) finds her stories coming to life when she enlists the help of mercenary Jack Colton (Michael Douglas) to find her sister missing in Columbia, and the priceless El Corazon jewel. In 'Scooby-Doo 2 - Monsters Unleashed' (2004) everything is going well for the Mystery Inc. gang: they're enjoying a high profile, and the public adore them so much their hometown of Coolsville has even opened a special museum in their honour. But things take a bad turn when a masked villain tries to take control of the city using a Monster Machine that brings to life the gang's past enemies - including the 10,000 Volt Ghost, Captain Cutler and The Creeper - reproductions of whom are on display in the museum. Finally, in 'Scooby-Doo: Curse of the Lake Monster' (2010) Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, Fred and Scooby-Doo go to work at Uncle Thorny (Ted McGinley)'s country club in Erie Point during their summer holiday. When a big green creature shows up at the club, causing chaos, Thorny loses a great deal of his customers so the gang decide to help him by investigating the legendary curse of the lake monster...

Hot shot advertising executive Nick Marshall (Mel Gibson) thinks he's God's gift to women and can get anyone he wants. After an accident he discovers that he can hear what women are really thinking about and is upset that his showing off techniques are not popular with his female colleagues. To make matters worse his dream of being promoted to a higher position has been thwarted by man-eating, new team member Darcy (Helen Hunt). He does not like this and uses his new found powers to ruin her by reading her mind and selling her ideas as his own. However, after Marty travels thirty years back in time, he discovers that he doesn't have enough fuel to return to 1985. And, after he accidentally prevents the first ever meeting between his own, teenage parents, Marty's own future birth and present existence is placed in jeopardy!
