April and George have talked about their bad childhoods and have figured out that their memories of the past will never be completely gone. However, since they love each other they decide to take the big step forward and get married. They hope their growing closeness will be the catalyst to give them a new start. But what if the stresses of marriage bring out the worst in them? What if they see themselves becoming the horrible spouses their parents were? Can anyone become what they haven't been taught? Can anyone really change without a model?
