Debra Lynn shares her unique and highly-effective approach to
singing with ease, based on the bel canto principles and
understanding of Manuel Garcia and Mathilde Marchesi
My name is Debra Lynn Heagy. My family moved to various places in
the United States and Europe. My dad, Lt. Col. Carleton L. Johnson
was in the Air Force and had many interesting assignments in
various parts of the world. My mother, Sharon Rose Seagrave met my
father in Indiana and they were married in 1955. My brother Michael
L. Johnson is an Anesthesiologist. I graduated from Wright State
University in Dayton, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Nursing. I am married to CDR Rex W. Heagy who graduated from the
Naval Academy in 1982. We have been married twenty-six years. We
have a daughter named Jennifer L. Heagy who works in nursing at an
extended care facility. We have lived in Kettering, Ohio for
twenty-three years and have been involved with missionary work,
church and community activities. My father passed away in 2003 with
brain cancer. This is my first book I have written. Laurent Muvunyi
has worked with me long hours in finding the people that
experienced genocide. Also, working with translation of the
testimonies. He was born in the Congo. Laurent graduated with a
Community Development and Project Management Degree from the
University of Congo in 2004. Laurent met Nicole in Burundi during
his first year of college. In 2006, went to Republic of Haiti to
help with projects called Mobilization of Life with HIV/AIDS,
founded by World Relief International for one month at Port Prince.
In 2006, moved back to Portland, Maine and was married in 2008.
Laurent and Nicole moved to Ohio in 2009, and he was elected
Chairman of Rwanda Rural Development Association. Currently,
Laurent works for Montgomery County Board of Mental Disabilities.
Laurent and Nicole have three children who were born in Ohio.
This is a fun book about the day in the life of a young boy and
his friends who are trying to catch the sun. You will run and laugh
with them as they try to use all kinds of "tools" they can possibly
think of catch the sun, but without success. And at the end of the
day, they watch silently by as the sun slips away from their
grasp.
New children's author, Debra Lynn Goins, offers a delightful and
engaging classic in Little Stedroy Stockingsock, a rhyming picture
book that introduces a young lad whose favorite hat is striped
purple and green and whose very best pals are a Dalmation and a
tabby cat. Perfect for preschool and beginning readers, this
winning tale provides even the youngest readers a vivid adventure.
Little Stedroy is a wee little thing with big dreams and a curious
style. He is smart and he has good manners, but what sets him
apart, other than his bright-banned hat, is the company he keeps.
No matter where he goes, be it school or down to the bay to watch
tall ships, he takes his pink Dalmation dog and his orange tabby
cat. The three make quite a team and as readers follow the trio on
their merry way, they catch a glimpse of what might be the perfect
day.
This compelling book reveals a disturbing side of Debra
Williamson's inner character that she never thought existed. Pushed
to the limit because of sexual, mental and physical abuse
perpetrated against her, Debra entertained ideas of suicide, then
contemplated committing murder. Her life story climaxes as she
triumphs in sweet revenge against the man she once loved so dearly
and who almost viciously claimed her life.
