The COVID-19 global pandemic has triggered health insecurity, food insecurity, and economic insecurity among many others in South Asia. It has profound impact on every sector of human activities ranging from the economic to environment. There is a need for a critical study of the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic for human security in order to fathom the emerging theoretical and policy issues in the region. Hence, the book provides an understanding of the consequences of the COVID-19 global pandemic for human security in South Asia. This intellectually stimulating book provides a critical analysis and insights on this contemporary challenge to policy makers, health professionals, academics, students, researchers, NGO workers working with health, human security and anyone interested in health and human security in South Asia. The book covers major human security areas, i.e. health security, food security, economic security, and environment issue. The role of regional cooperation and global health governance is also covered in the domain of COVID-19. This book fills the existing knowledge gap on the human security in South Asia in general and linking with COVID-19 in particular. From the perspective of policy, the insights of the study would guide the policy makers in South Asia in reframing their security policies emphasising human security issues and challenges. The RMG sector plays a significant role in the national economy of Bangladesh. It accounts for more than 75 percent of total export earnings and is a vital industry employment and absorbs about a third of the industrial workforce. More than 22 lakh people, the majority of whom are women, are currently directly or indirectly dependent on the garment factories. They work at some 4000 garment factories in Bangladesh. Labour unrest and cries in the garment sector has been unprecedented. This has the sector survival of RMG sector. In these circumstances, attempts have been taken to conduct a study to find out the causes, effect and the ways and techniques to mitigate and manage labour crisis in RMG sector of Bangladesh. In preparing the proposal careful and meticulous thoughts have been given to bring all the inputs in this proposal to meet the expected requirements. The contents of the proposal have been designed and presented in such a manner as suggested by the respected course teacher.

The Asian continent is composed of multiple political systems, huge populations, and different religions and histories. Yet, the undercurrents of politics and political affairs and how societies function in this vast region are not well known, and in fact often misunderstood. The role of music and its impact on political affairs is just one of these unknown or misunderstood factors about this region. Unlike initial political communication studies, the present book is not about examining established political structures such as parliament or congress and the presidency; political processes such as elections, campaign advertising and voter education; or even political behavior and participation such as voting and the performance of other civic duties. Rather, it recognizes and explores the impact and intersection of music and politics in society, in this case, various societies in the Asian continent. The book is projected to be an invaluable research tool specifically in the hands of researchers and students of Asian politics in the aforementioned fields, and people who are interested in understanding and investigating the intersection of music and politics globally.
