The Eden Project provides a guide for the purpose of seeing God's
single plan of creation and redemption in the Bible. It is designed
and written for pastors and laity, and arises out of Jackson's many
years of teaching and re-teaching this story. Standing behind this
study is solid scholarship that validates and authenticates the
author's approach to Scripture. In our fragmented world, this book
will give the serious reader an integrated picture of the God of
Scripture and the human family he created and saved through his
Son, Jesus Christ.
This is a study of the Gospel of Matthew viewed through the lens of
kingdom theology. It examines how Matthew has reflected the mission
and message of Jesus on the coming of the Messianic era, or the
kingdom of heaven. It first discovers the careful literary
structure of Matthew and then explores how Jesus is portrayed, how
he announced, demonstrated and taught on the kingdom and then acted
as God's Suffering Servant and Son of Man through his death and
resurrection. It also covers Matthew's approach to community and
discipleship.
The Mission of the Kingdom is a study of the theology of Luke in
Luke and Acts. Luke's two volumes cover about 25% of the New
Testament. Any writer who has contributed this much has to be
important. Further, Luke is unique because he provides the big
picture story of the kingdom, from the birth of Jesus, through his
life and ministry, then Pentecost, and then into the early church
and right up to Rome. Luke-Acts is the missions document in the New
Testament. As one delves into his works there is so much more that
emerges.
