The Internship (2013)
Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson star as two former salesmen who, never having
managed to come to grips with the digital age, are left high and
dry when their employer suddenly decides to call it a day. Staking
everything on one last throw of the dice, the pair, defying all the
odds, somehow manage to get themselves accepted onto a coveted
internship at tech giants Google. But will they be able to keep up
the facade once they take up their positions?
The Watch (2012)
Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade star as a group of
friends who form a neighbourhood watch group. While Evan Trautwig, a newcomer to the suburban neighbourhood, may have a
legitimate reason for forming a crime watch group following the
recent murder of a friend, it is clear that for most of the men
ulterior motives are at work. Indeed, Bob Finnerty seems
to spend a lot more time examining the dating habits of his
daughter, Chelsea, than he does looking for
threats. However, when the men stumble across what appears to be an
alien plan to destroy humankind, they understand where their
responsibilities lie and set out to counter the threat.

First time director Antonio Campos's downbeat tale of teenage
alienation in which a public school pupil confronts death in the
digital age. High school loner Robert (Ezra Miller) spends his
spare time surfing the net for hardcore pornography and random
clips of unrelated items that appeal to him. Given a digital video
camera to record footage for an audiovisual class, Robert happens
to be present when two popular girl students accidentally die from
a drugs overdose. With the school in mourning, Robert is given the
job of producing the school's official memorial video. But as he
becomes immersed in his task, he soon finds himself becoming even
more alienated from those around him.

in Montana who has his nine-year-old granddaughter Ryann (Ariel
Gade) to stay for several weeks while her parents go abroad. When

to return to the wild, and to help her understand this he starts
reading Jack London's 'Call of the Wild' aloud to her each night.
However, Ryann has hatched a plan of her own, and enlists the help

....................... When falling in love is the punchline . . .
Farley Jones is a loud, chaotic, and hilariously clever standup
comedian on the way to stardom. The only thing she loves more than
the rush of telling jokes in front of a revved-up audience is her
hot older manager Meyer, though he doesn't have a clue. Keeping her
feelings hidden from him is agony, but Meyer has been Farley's
closest and most treasured friend, not to mention vital to the
trajectory of her career. She can't risk ruining their relationship
by telling him how she truly feels. After all, who else would have
the patience to put up with a hot mess like her? A former standup
star himself, single father Meyer Harrigan left the stage years ago
in order to focus on raising his deaf daughter Hazel. Farley has
been everything to them since she came into their lives three years
ago, and despite his grumpiness, his protectiveness over Hazel, and
his disdain for public attention, Meyer will do anything to make
her standup dreams come true. When the biggest opportunity of
Farley's career comes along and forces the pair to fake-date in
order to stir up publicity, it doesn't take long for their act to
bring all those other funny feelings out into the open. Like most
matters of the heart, it quickly begins to feel like anything but a
joke. ....................... Readers say â â â â â! 'A
booktok recommendation that was worth ALL the hype!! I absolutely
ADORED this book!!!' 'Smart, funny, sexy, and insightful' 'A fun,
touching and totally charmingly romantic story that you would have
to be dead not to love' 'Everything I love about romance; it was
full of sweet and funny moments, it was steamy and the plot was so
fun' Don't miss Tarah's other hit rom-coms, Rootbound and The Co-op
- out now!
Raised in Marrakech by a French mother and English father, a
17-year-old girl has learned above all to avoid mauvais
ton (“bad taste†loses something in the translation). One
should not ask servants to wait on one during Ramadan: they must
have paid leave while one spends the holy month abroad. One must
play the piano; if staying at Claridge’s, one must regrettably
install a Clavinova in the suite, so that the necessary hours of
practice will not be inflicted on fellow guests. One should
cultivate weavers of tweed in the Outer Hebrides but have the cloth
made up in London; one should buy linen in Ireland but have it made
up by a Thai seamstress in Paris (whose genius has been supported
by purchase of suitable premises). All this and much more she has
learned, governed by a parent of ferociously lofty standards. But
at 17, during the annual Ramadan travels, she finds all assumptions
overturned. Will she be able to fend for herself? Will the dictates
of good taste suffice when she must deal, singlehanded, with the
sharks of New York?

SHORTLISTED FOR THE MAN BOOKER PRIZE, a darkly funny, offbeat
western about a reluctant assassin and his murderous brother. 'The
Sisters Brothers confirms deWitt as one of the most talented young
writers around' Sunday Times Hermann Kermit Warm is going to die.
Across 1000 miles of Oregon desert his assassins, the notorious Eli
and Charlies Sisters, ride - fighting, shooting, and drinking their
way to Sacramento. But their prey isn't an easy mark, the road is
long and bloody, and somewhere along the path Eli begins to
question what he does for a living - and who he does it for. Filled
with a remarkable cast of losers, cheaters, and ne'er-do-wells from
all stripes of life - and told by a complex and compelling
narrator, it is a violent, lustful odyssey through the underworld
of the 1850s frontier. It beautifully captures the humour,
melancholy, and grit of the Old West, through a tale of two
brothers bound by blood, violence, and love. 'Superb ... deWitt has
ensured another unforgettable pair their place in fictive lore'
