Mike Leigh writes and directs this Academy Award-nominated biographical drama about British artist J.M.W. Turner, who is here portrayed by Timothy Spall. The film explores the last 25 years or so of Turner's life in which he suffers greatly after the loss of his beloved father William (Paul Jesson) and has relations with his housekeeper Hannah Danby (Dorothy Atkinson) and, later, landlady Sophia Booth (Marion Bailey), who he lives with in Chelsea until his death. During this time he refuses to acknowledge the existence of his two illegitimate daughters Evelina (Sandy Foster) and Georgiana (Amy Dawson) and develops his painting style, which is often both praised and criticised. The cast also includes Lesley Manville, Karl Johnson and Ruth Sheen.

Brian Helgeland writes and directs this crime thriller starring Tom Hardy in the dual role of infamous gangster twins Ronald and Reginald Kray. The film chronicles the Kray twins' career during the 1950s and '60s as they tighten their tyrannical rule over London. With Ronnie's mental stability in question Reggie attempts to keep him under control while embarking on a romance with the beautiful Frances Shea (Emily Browning). Meanwhile, Detective Superintendent Leonard 'Nipper' Read (Christopher Eccleston) tries to bring the Krays down. The cast also includes David Thewlis, Colin Morgan, Taron Egerton and Tara Fitzgerald.

Nick Frost stars as a former salsa dancer desperate to regain his mojo in this comedy directed by James Griffiths. 22 years after a bullying incident robbed him of his shot at glory in the UK Junior Salsa Championships, overweight and self-loathing office worker Bruce Garrett (Frost) falls for the charms of his new, seemingly out-of-reach American boss Julia (Rashida Jones). Bruce's hopes rise, however, when he discovers that Julia also shares a passion for the dance floor, inspiring him to try to turn back the clock and win the girl of his dreams. Unfortunately, there's a problem - Bruce's testosterone-fuelled colleague Drew (Chris O'Dowd) has made it quite obvious that he's got his own carnal designs on Julia. Can Bruce regain his confidence, unleash his dormant Latin fire and snatch the ultimate prize?
