The main villain, Harris Mason is essentially a Frankenstein's monster type character who as a child died and was resurrected by his father. He comes toe to toe with Gallie who uses his unique abilities to stop the madman's plot at to overthrow the nation. In Volume 2 Gallie teams up with Elizabeth August, and wrestles with his past as he seeks the aid of Ghost Hawk the flying death in an effort to combat the ever growing might of Harris Mason.
