This volume fills a conspicuous gap in the literature by providing the first resource guide devoted solely to Irish research collections located on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Organized geographically, the book covers the United States, Canada, Great Britain, and Ireland and provides comprehensive information about significant Irish collections in such areas as literature, history, current events, biography, Celtic studies, and the arts. Fully indexed and cross referenced, the guide will enable researchers to discover what is available and where it is located, systematically plan itineraries for visiting collections, and better determine duplication among collections.

Roosevelt Research is the first resource guide to provide information on research collection for all three Roosevelts. The volume covers U.S. repositories, including the large collections at the Library of Congress, the National Archives, the FDR Library at Hyde Park, and the Theodore Roosevelt Collection at Harvard University's Houghton Library, and smaller collections throughout the country. In addition, it covers collections in Great Britain and the new Roosevelt Research Center in the Netherlands. The guide details collectons for easy access. Part I includes U.S. entries arranged alphabetically by state, city, and name of repository. Repositories in Great Britain and the Netherlands are also covered in part I. Each entry includes an address; hours; information on which Roosevelts the collections cover; whether sources are primary or secondary; and descriptions of the types of material available. The book is fully indexed and cross-referenced.
