Imagining Death in Spenser and Milton assembles a collection of essays on the compelling topic of death in two monumental representatives of the early modern canon, Edmund Spenser and John Milton. The volume draws its impetus from the conviction that death is a central, yet curiously understudied, preoccupation for Spenser and Milton, contending that death--in all its early modern reformations and deformations--is an indispensable backdrop for any attempt to articulate the relationship between Spenser and Milton.

In 1845, Benjamin Davis Wilson--the future first mayor of Los
Angeles and the grandfather of Gen. George S. Patton--led a 20-man
posse into the San Bernardino Mountains in search of Native
American raiding parties that had been attacking Riverside ranches.
But what they found in a particular high-altitude valley were,
instead, large and furry. Wilson's men soon roped 11 bears,
bringing the creatures into camp, and the valley the Serrano
Indians knew as Yuhaviat, or "Pine Place," received a new map
designation. Wilson named a nearby body of water Big Bear Lake (now
Baldwin Lake, with the present-day, man-made lake co-opting the
bruin moniker). Today, at elevations between 6,000 and 9,000 feet,
the city of Big Bear Lake is an hour and a half from Los Angeles
and a million miles from the rat race, where hiking, sports, and
the absence of exertion thrive in a vacation atmosphere.
Every breath we take is contingent on the agreement. Every second
in our lives is in response to the agreement. Without the agreement
nothing exists Something of this magnitude needs to be understood,
and the only way to understand it is to research and study it in
depth. The agreement is based on Gods covenant with man and mans
covenant with God, his family and community. In the way God
intended it to be and not in the dysfunctional way we live it in
today's society. The agreement is the spiritual contact between God
and man that allow and entitles us to live a complete and fulfilled
Christian life. The old axiom, "my word is my bond" was a powerful
social and sometimes legal dynamic that could be trusted without
question in most situations. However, in these modem times things
have drastically changed. The power and relevancy of contracts
between men have lost their meaning

FamilyPastor and church fightDysfunctional Relationship with GodIn
thy getting get understanding. (Proverbs 4:7)A covenant
familyGerald E. Bellamy BS, MA, is the founder of Warriors of Faith
Ministries, and co-founder of Step of Faith Ministries
A monumental battle rages between mighty angel warriors and a vast
horde of nightmarish demons who have established a stronghold
within an unsuspecting church.
The pastor, a charming man with magnetic personality, is doted
upon by his followers, most of whom are unaware of his arrogant
pride and unethical conduct. The affairs of the church he controls
with an iron fist, abusing his leaders unmercifully. Many have left
broken and wounded while others look the other way, unable to stand
against the enormous spirits controlling the man.
A neophyte board of directors find themselves faced with a
terrible dilemma when they finally realize the extent of his
wickedness. Will they choose to stand for righteousness, demanding
accountability, or will they abandon the responsibilities of their
leadership roll? It is only as they face off against this
self-styled prophet of the Lord that they fully realize his
formidable ability to divide and conquer with manipulation and
intimidation.
As the human struggle continues, heavenly hosts clash with the
entrenched army of evil in a desperate attempt to overthrow the
designs of the savage Python spirit and monstrous demon-master,
Jezebel, in order to win back the territory and save embattled
believers.
