Mit den Programmen der offenen Software des Buches ist es moglich, die Ergebnisse der Kurven- und Flachtentheorie computergrafisch auf dem Bildschirm, dem Plotter oder einem postscriptfahigen Ausgabegerat darzustellen. Hierbei bedeutet der Begriff "offen," dass die Methoden der Software beliebig erweitert und somit auch auf andere allgemeine Probleme angewendet werden konnen.
