A steamy ROMANTIC SUSPENSE standalone novel by USA TODAY best-selling author, L.P. DOVER. I trust you ... These are the three words that Melissa Ashford wishes she could say to someone; to the one person she can fully give herself to and not worry about being betrayed. Being twenty-eight years old and divorced from a cheating ex-husband, Melissa enjoys her freedom until one night she finds herself indulging in a one night stand that changes everything. There's something about the alluring Brett Walker that has Melissa feeling things she's never had with any other man; feelings that not only scare her, but push her past her limits. Just when she begins to open her soul to this new love their bond is put to the test when jealousies from the past try to break them apart. It's not only Melissa's trust that's put on the line, but Brett's as well. Will their love be strong enough to get them through the lies? Will Melissa finally be able to say those three words she's been dying to say? I trust you ...

Calling a Demon forth wasn't the wisest thing the Ayers witches have ever done. For centuries, the Ayers have been slaves of the Demon Lilith, one Ayers witch destined to do her will while another was sacrificed to the Hunters. But Monroe Jacobs has changed the rules ... A witch from the Ayers line, Monroe's powers have always been connected to Demons and now she knows why. Once a slave to Lilith, she has thrown off her blood ties to the Demon queen by calling on her son, the hybrid-Demon, Luther. Now Monroe must discover what it means to be a witch while fighting off demonic possession. For Luther "Thorne" Craig, his attraction to the witch, Monroe, isn't just a complication, it's a distraction. He's always been happy with his life, serving the denizens of Hell while living flamboyantly, but now he's declared war on his mother and Lilith won't rest until she sees him dead. Armed with her own book of shadows, Monroe is dragged into a civil war between mother and son while Luther fights his demonic need to truly possess her.

Bookbinding (Paperback): W. J. Eden Crane Bookbinding (Paperback)

LITTLE prefatory remark is required in introducing this small book to the public. The present day is especially noticeable for the number of amateur workers who are found in every department of art and technics. That being so, there is certainly no branch of work better fitted to claim their time and attention than that of Bookbinding. It is of great antiquity, of the utmost utility, and capable of almost any degree of artistic development. Looking back to the birth and early history of literature, we find all the oldest manuscripts, both classical and oriental, were written on sheets of parchment or papyrus, and rolled up when not in use. The bookbinder of those days was simply a maker of circular cabinets or repositories, suitable for containing these rolls; and these cases, when for bibliophiles, were often beautifully ornamented. When and by whom the plan of folding the sheet of parchment or paper into pages, and stitching sheets together at the back, was first introduced, is not exactly known; but at that time, and not till then, the book sprang into existence.
