Much-lauded comedy, described by its makers as 'a romantic comedy -
with zombies'. Written by Simon Pegg, creator of the hit TV series
'Spaced', the film fuses the style (and copious bloodshed) of
classic zombie films with observational suburban comedy. Shaun
(Pegg) is a useless but likeable thirty-something who works in an
electronics shop in Crouch End. He doesn't get much respect from
his fellow staff, even though he's standing in as temporary boss;
his girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield) has had enough of his lack of
direction and penchant for downing pints in the local pub; and he
doesn't get on with his stepdad (Bill Nighy). Things get worse when
the living dead make their appearance, threatening to spread their
zombie curse across the nation. Will Shaun be able to rise from his
sofa to save the lives of the two women he loves - Liz and his dear
old mum?

Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas star in this sci-fi
action movie following the Marvel Comics superhero. Decades earlier
scientist Hank Pym (Douglas) invented a special suit that would
allow him to transform to the size of an ant and give him super
strength. The ageing hero approaches petty thief Scott Lang (Rudd)
and, with the help of his daughter Hope Van Dyne (Lilly), Hank
trains him to become the new Ant-Man. After Darren Cross (Corey
Stoll) takes over his former mentor Pym's business he produces a
similar suit to be worn by the military as well as a more powerful
suit for himself, transforming him into Yellowjacket. This results
in chaos and it's up to Ant-Man to use both his thieving skills and
his newfound abilities to save the day.
This important volume reviews the status of investigations aimed at
deciphering the geologic, biogeographic, and archaeological records
for the Quaternary Era--the last million years of geologic time-for
the area of continental United States. Over eighty Quaternary
scientists have contributed to the fifty-five chapters divided into
four main parts. Part 1 treats the areal geology, with emphasis on
the stratigraphy of the glaciated areas east of the Rocky
Mountains, unglaciated eastern and central United States, and
western United States. Part 2 deals with biogeography:
phytogeography and palynology, animal geography and evolution. Part
3 deals with archaeology prehistory in the northeastern states,
southeastern states, plains, desert west, and Pacific Coast
including Alaska. Part 4 covers many diverse Quaternary studies
on--the continental shelves, isotope geochemistry, paleopedology,
the geochemistry of some lake sediments, paleohydrology, glaciers
and climate, volcanic-ash chronology, paleomagnetism,
neo-tectonics, dendrochronology, and theoretical paleoclimatology.
Originally published in 1965. The Princeton Legacy Library uses the

Princeton University Press. These editions preserve the original
texts of these important books while presenting them in durable
