Cornelius Phipps is a man caught in a web of despair. Utkena is a
demon seeking vengeance. Sanjukta is a woman striving for justice.
The moment she is born during a terrible storm, which also sees the
death of her mother, Sanjukta's destiny is sealed. Half Native
American Indian, she is given the gifts necessary to fight an evil
created by the Nations but used by the White Man. Her life becomes
a battlefield. Both in the Court House, where she fights for the
rights of her people becoming a lawyer of renown, and in the spirit
plane. Here, in this truly dangerous place, she must find the
strength to survive heartbreak and evil. With cunning, bravery and
the knowledge that true love must find a way to survive in a dark
world, she faces her demons... Sanjukta And The Box of Souls draws
on the ancient Native American traditions while combining them with
the glass and steel world of lawyers and money men. Through
Sanjukta's eyes we see these two worlds collide and fight for
supremacy. Can she find her destiny and have her true love? Can she
save her people without turning her back on her life away from her
homelands? Will she unite both sides so together humanity can save
itself from the darkness? This is a journey of courage, heart,
spirit and most of all friendship.
'Rainbows in the Clouds' continues the Llewellyn family saga
through the testing and explosive times of WWII. Carrie's life is
turned upside down when the London Chest Hospital is bombed in the
Blitz and it threatens to tear her from the slowly flowering love
she has found in Michael's arms. After this horrific incident her
bravery is brought to the attention of the authorities. They
contact her with a proposal, which drags her into the centre of the
conflict in Europe and out of the security of her home and family.
But first she and the others in the small community, in the Welsh
valleys, must find the sociopathic man who not only threatens their
security but also their health as diphtheria begins to claim lives.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Megan and Thomas wonder
if they will ever see each other and their families again as war
rages around them. WWII shattered lives but also brought with it
surprising gifts. The lives and loves of these people reflect the
extreme times and show the true strength good friends give to each
other, making the world a less terrible place.
After witnessing the brutal death of his father, at the tender age
of seven, by a band of smuggling cutthroats, Nathaniel Brookes
swears to find his father's killers. As a man he initially follows
a medical career, but he turns his back on his comfortable life and
dons the garb of a Riding Officer to fulfil his vow. Hated in all
communities, ostracised and friendless, he faces more than just his
father's enemies. Little did Nathaniel expect, when taking up his
duties to ride the dramatic Welsh coastline, that he would meet and
fall in love with local beauty, Jenny Banwen, horrifically scarred
by a sadistic young member of the gentry. But Nathaniel is
betrothed to his first cousin, Hannah. A betrothal of duty. With
his loyalties torn, Nathaniel knows his search for the brutes who
savagely took his father's life, his sad engagement and his family
obligations will be tested. They reveal that Nathaniel has a double
duty, to his oath, and to his heart's future. That is if he can
stay alive long enough to have a future. Publisher Comments:
Against The Tide is an all action adventure with a fine and
beautiful love story woven through the narrative. Elizabeth Revill
is a wonderful storyteller, bringing history to life through the
most evocative characters. She is definitely inheriting the mantle
of writers like Catherine Cookson. The Welsh coast has never seen
such brave heroes and terrible villians.
