Das vorliegende Heft XV, 1 der Wissenschaftlichen
Voroffentlichungen aus den Siemens-Werken wird durch einen Nachruf
auf unseren langjahrigen Mitarbeiter Friedrich Natalis, verfasst
von F. Heintzenberg, eingeleitet. Es kommen dann zunachst vier
Arbeiten aus dem Starkstromgebiet. Die Arbeit von C. Trettin uber
"Wirbelstromdampfung des Nutenfeldes in . Dynamoankern" schliesst
sich an einen in diesen Veroffentlichungen, XII, 2 (1933),
erschienenen Aufsatz uber "Stromwendung und Dampfung bei
Gleichstrommaschi nen" an und behandelt die Verminderung der
Selbstinduktion eines Nutenleiters durch Dampfung zwecks
Verbesserung der Stromwendung. Die entwickelte Theorie hat sich an
bereits ausgefuhrten Maschinen bewahrt. Es folgt eine Abhandlung
von J. Tittel: "Der Einfluss der Lauferstreuung auf den
Spannungsverlauf von Synchronmaschinen mit Dampferwicklung bei
plotzlichen Lastanderungen." Die hier erstmalig gebrachte strenge
Losung des Problems der bei Lastanderungen auftretenden
Ausgleichsvorgange fuhrt zu wichtigen neuen Er kenntnissen, die
sich sowohl technisch als auch wirtschaftlich auswirken. Die
folgende Arbeit: "Modellversuche zur Wanderwellenubertragung auf
die Unterspannungswicklung von Transformatoren" von H. Neuhaus und
R. Strigel bringt Untersuchungen an einem Transformatormodell mit
Hilfe des Kathodenstrahl Oszillographen. Die Vorgange werden
rechnerisch erfasst und mit Messungen aus anderen Arbeiten
verglichen. In das Gebiet der Stromubertragung fuhrt die
anschliessende Arbeit von R. Stri gel uber "Vergleichende
Untersuchungen uber Gleich-und Wechselspannungskorona an
Doppelleitungen." Es wird die Abhangigkeit des Koronaverlustes von
dem Durchmesser, dem Abstand, der Oberflache und dem Metall der
Leiter sowie von der Witterung untersucht und fur die Praxis die
Folgerung gezogen, dass mit Gleich spannung betriebene Leitungen
hinsichtlich des Koronaverlustes keine Vorteile gegenuber mit
Wechselspannung betriebenen aufweisen."
