d'Hoffmann (The Tales of Hoffmann) as originally published by
Choudens in 1907 and completed by Ernest Guiraud. Performer's
Reprints are produced in conjunction with the International Music
Score Library Project. These are out of print or historical
editions, which we clean, straighten, touch up, and digitally
reprint. Due to the age of original documents, you may find
occasional blemishes, damage, or skewing of print. While we do
extensive cleaning and editing to improve the image quality, some
items are not able to be repaired. A portion of each book sold is
donated to small performing arts organizations to create jobs for
performers and to encourage audience growth.
This is a reproduction of a book published before 1923. This book
may have occasional imperfections such as missing or blurred pages,
poor pictures, errant marks, etc. that were either part of the
original artifact, or were introduced by the scanning process. We
believe this work is culturally important, and despite the
imperfections, have elected to bring it back into print as part of
our continuing commitment to the preservation of printed works
