1960s British drama following the attempts of a convent of nuns to rescue Jewish children from an interment camp in WWII Italy. The nuns and their priest, Father Desmaines (Michael Goodliffe), see it as their Christian duty to do what they can to save the children from the horror of the camp. Thanks to the generosity of the facility's commanding officer, Major Vittorio Spoletti (Ronald Lewis), who turns a blind eye, the enterprise hasn't been too dangerous so far. However, when the Germans, led by Colonel Erich Horsten (Albert Lieven), begin taking a greater interest, both Spoletti and the nuns find themselves in grave danger.

In 'The Case of the Mukkinese Battle-Horn' (1956) a Mukkinese battle-horn is stolen from the Metropolitan Museum. Superintendent Quilt (Peter Sellers) and Sergeant Brown (Spike Milligan) investigate the robbery, meeting a number of eccentric characters along the way. In 'What a Whopper' (1961) struggling writer Tony Blake (Adam Faith) and his bohemian artist flatmates are threatened with eviction from their house in Chelsea. To raise the cash, they devise a hare-brained scheme to travel to Loch Ness, fake an appearance of the famed monster therein, and write a bestselling book about it. What could possibly go wrong? In 'The Butler's Dilemma' (1943) Rodney Playfair (Richard Hearne) is made to impersonate a butler in exchange for having his gambling debts written off. However, he is really providing an alibi for a thief... In 'Gert and Daisy Clean Up' (1942) the title characters (Elsie and Doris Waters) do their best to help the war effort by rounding up salvage metal and foiling a racketeering plot. 'Tons of Trouble' (1956) follows caretaker Mr. Pastry (Hearne) as he gets himself into all sorts of calamities looking after his beloved boilers Mavis and Ethel. In 'Gert and Daisy's Weekend' (1942) the two East End sisters volunteer to escort a group of evacuee children out of Blitz-torn London into the safety of the countryside. All kinds of mayhem, mischief and misunderstandings ensue as the motley troupe arrives at the grand Little Pipham Hall, presided over by the imposing Lady Plumtree (Annie Esmond). 'Your Money Or Your Wife' (1960) follows married couple Pelham (Donald Sinden) and Gay Butterworth (Peggy Cummins) as they unexpectedly run into money troubles. In advance of Gay receiving an inheritance, the newly-weds decide to splash out to celebrate. It is only after this that they discover they will be given the money in weekly instalments unless the couple divorce or Pelham dies. They plan to divorce and remarry but will their scheme pay off? The collection also includes a documentary on English actress Liz Fraser entitled 'Liz Fraser - Her Life in Comedy' and the short 'Comedy Cocktail' (1951) in which Edwin J. Fancey presents clips from some of Charlie Chaplin's comedies.

1950s mystery thriller adapted by Victor Canning from his novel about a detective who gets caught up in a murder plot. Private detective Edward Mercer (Richard Todd) travels to Venice on a mission to find an Italian veteran who is due to be rewarded for his efforts in the Second World War. When he arrives, however, Mercer realises he is being set up with both the police and a group of partisans hot on his trail.

Rod Taylor and Christopher Plummer star in this 1960s action thriller adapted from Jon Cleary's novel 'The High Commissioner'. Australian police sergeant Scobie Malone (Taylor) is sent to London to arrest High Commissioner Sir James Quentin (Plummer), who is currently engaged in sensitive peace talks, on the suspicion of murdering his first wife 25 years previously. Malone allows Quentin a few days to finish his work before taking him back to Australia and during this time stays with the suspect and his second wife Sheila (Lilli Palmer) in their home. Complications arise, however, when Malone finds himself having to prevent Quentin's assassination at the hands of a ruthless group of spies.

1950s British drama following a group of London pub darts players on a day trip to France. The members of the group have various interests to pursue in France. While some are going just for the darts, one man plans to buy cheap watches and smuggle them back to Britain for a profit. Jim Carver (Donald) has a more sombre intention. Having fought in France during the war, he heads to a nearby cemetery to pay his respects to a fallen comrade. Along the way he bumps into Martine (Odile Versois), a Frenchwoman he used to know. Love blossoms, but Jim and his fellow darts players have a boat to catch...

Thriller starring Stanley Baker as a man prepared to do almost anything to win a motor race. O'Donovan (Baker) is hired by the owner of a racing team, Warren Ingram (James Robertson Justice), to steal the car design plans of one of his rival teams ahead of an important race.
