The pilot film for the successful 1980s American television series about a hi-tech helicopter gunship. In this case the veteran is Stringfellow Hawke (Jan-Michael Vincent) and he sets to work immediately, enlisting the help of Dominic Santini (Ernest Borgnine) and heading for the desert.
