The current book shows the effects of Tranexamic acid and its
derivatives; N-Phthaloyl Tranexamic acid and N-Acetyl Tranexamic
acid on the metabolism and chemical modulation of glutathione in
the blood and in aqueous media using UV-Visible spectrophotometer.
This study also helps to understand the mechanism of action of
N-Acetyl Tranexamic acid and N-Phthaloyl Tranexamic acid, in blood
components.
This book focuses on the structure elucidation of pentacyclic
triterpenes using to two essential techniques, Nuclear Magnetic
Resonance and Mass Spectrometry. The Carbon-13 NMR data of most of
the classes of pentacyclic triterpenes and their mass fragmentation
pattern is provided and the characteristic 13C NMR signals and mass
fragmentation peaks have also been described. Thus by comparing the
data of an unknown pentacyclic triterpene with the data of the
known pentacyclic triterpenes provided in this book may help to
narrow down the search for the structure of the compound.
