Anfang Marz bis Mitte Mai 1872 machte sich der
evangelisch-lutherische Pfarrer Dr. Ferdinand Weber auf eine Reise
nach Russland um das dortige religiose Leben zu studieren. In
seinen Reiseerinnerungen zeichnet er ein Bild des
russisch-judischen Lebens, er lernte die Centralpunkte der
russischen Kirche kennen und hatte die Gelegenheit auf den Kolonien
Sudrusslands, wie in St. Petersburg und den Ostseeprovinzen das
evangelische Leben und Streben zu studieren. Ferdinand Wilhelm
Weber lebte von 1836 - 1879. Dieses Buch ist eine sorgfaltige
