El objetivo de esta monografia es presentar un nuevo metodo para resolver los problemas perturbados independientes del tiempo en la mecanica cuantica no relativista. En este metodo se desarrolla el operador de evolucion de la ecuacion de Schrodinger dependiente del tiempo en serie de Taylor, y se identifican los terminos de dicha serie con los elementos de ciertas matrices triangulares. A partir de esta observacion, se construye un conjunto facilmente soluble de ecuaciones diferenciales para las matrices triangulares, y se encuentra de manera simultanea la correccion a la energia y la correccion a la funcion de onda. Dado que el metodo que resulta utiliza matrices, se le bautizo como "Metodo matricial." Presentamos tambien algunos ejemplos y aplicaciones a la optica cuantica y a la ecuacion maestra. El metodo matricial tiene las siguientes ventajas: i) el desarrollo es sistematico, la correccion de cualquier orden es obtenida en forma directa y general, ii) al tomar en cuenta todos los terminos se obtiene la serie de Dyson, iii) las correcciones a la energia y a la funcion de onda son obtenidas en una sola operacion de manera simultanea, y iv) pedagogicamente es mas conveniente."
