As the title says, the book is a compilation of short stories,
(Novelettes). They are as different from each other as chalk and
cheese but some are tales that have gone from actual events through
to Legend and Myth whilst others are the magic that surrounds us
all if only we stop and see it and also hear it. I, as the author,

Ten' this then is one such story. So come take my hand and walk
with me through this life. A life that has been with heartache and
love and strange supernatural things. A life that some would say
was a 'Whimsical Tale Of Three Score years and Ten' but yet is a
true story. A cruelty and evilness that should be borne by neither
man nor beast but yet was borne by a family of six who were five
girls and the youngest, a boy. A family who suffered at the hands
of a man and his cat-of-nine-tails, their father. But they would
not be cowed, they fought back in the only way they could. By not
shedding a tear in front of or for their father. so let us walk
through these 'Three Score Years And Ten' and witness the evil, the
horror and the betrayals. The undiluted cruelty of one vile man in
his abuse of the mind, body and soul of his children. The happiness
and the despair and most of all, indeed, in spite of all, the
laughter and the love shared by all the sisters and brother, All
