All of us know that success is just an arm's reach away but for
some reason we tend to not reach far enough and success just slips
past us. Every once in a while we have to be reminded that we have
to reach just a little further and soon success will be ours.
That's what the 100 ideas in "100 Ways to Rule Your World" are all
about. They are your 100 reminders to constantly and consistently
do to RULE YOUR WORLD
During the Allied Occupation of Berlin (1945-1994), Doughboy City
was where the US soldiers went to hone their skills and prepare for
when the Soviets and the Warsaw Pact decide to make Khrushchev's
Ultimatum a reality. Doughboy City was a mock city with its own
subway station and city hall. One foggy morning the training turned
deadly. They ruled it a terrible accident but one Soldier doesn't
buy it but cannot prove why or how or who did it. As the story
unfolds, a suspect starts to emerge until it is undeniable but
still no proof. That is until an unlikely duo changes everything
for everyone. All set in the days before the world would change
forever. Then again, in Berlin change is an everyday occurrence.
During the Soviet Blockade of Berlin (1948-1949), Operation Vittles
(Berlin Airlift) brought in over 2,326,406 tons of supplies, nearly
two-thirds of which was coal, on 278,228 flights to city of Berlin.
The Berlin Airlift was the greatest single mass airborne relief
operation the world has ever known. The supply planes flew in food,
fuel, and medicine and others brought something extra. Chocolate
and candy was parachuted in to the children of Berlin. While all
the aircraft flew in to Tempelhof Airport, R.A.F. Gatow, and Tegel
Airport heavy with supplies, very few cargo planes ever flew to
western Germany loaded. The few that did fly back heavy were
carrying empty boxes and trash. Even fewer C-47 cargo planes were
carrying precious cargo, very important precious cargo. When the
operation to bring the precious cargo out of Berlin is discovered
and the contents are switched no one is the wiser until a young
Berliner recognizes the cargo is not what it seems to be. The young
Berliner then turns to a US Army Infantryman for help. Together,
they must do what they can to stop the cargo from leaving Berlin.
They soon enter into the race of their lives, what they do not know
is that it is also race for the lives of every man, woman, and
child in the city of Berlin and the Free World.
The Walking Leader is a collection of 20 rules that anyone in any
organization, company, group, or department can follow now to help
lead them down the path of leadership greatness. The Walking Leader
deals with the fact that everyone who wants to succeed within any
organization must get out from behind their desk, out of their
office or cubicle and walk around the entire organization. While
this is a great idea however, over the years there was nothing
formally put down on paper as to what to do once someone got out
and about the company floor. Lacking any guide, the 20 rules of the
Walking Leader were created to ensure that any one that decides to
go out for a walk knows they have permission to go out there and do
it, and if they need a guide, here it is Please visit the book's
