Along the way Buck Ram and Jean Bennett guided and promoted the careers of some of the most successful and talented groups of the 50s and 60s including: The Penguins (Earth Angel), The Flaires (Footstomping), The Colts (Adorable), The Blockbusters (Rock and Night), Freddie Bell and The Bellboys (Hound Dog), Stewart "Rick" Rose (I Complained) and dozens more.

In 1952 successful songwriter Buck Ram, and Jean Bennett, a hopeful girl singer from Missouri, began an entertainment management company that created the #1 group of the 50's - The Platters. For thirty-eight years Personality Productions kept a roster of fifteen or more artists at all times including The Flares, Peter Breck, Bert Convey, Sugar and Spice, Morton Downey, Jr., The Pengiuns, The Colts, The Blockbusters and Benny Joy.
