Once in the air the plane is hijacked by convict Cyrus 'The Virus' Grissom, who gets rid of the crew of prison guards at the first scheduled stop, picking up more convicts as he does so. But US Marshal Vince Larkin is already on his trail. Poe does his best to stop Grissom from escaping with the group of convicts, and just to complicate matters further his diabetic cellmate reveals that he will die if he does not receive his next insulin injection within two hours.

Based on a true story, this action-filled thriller, with its renowned chase scene, won five Academy Awards, in 1971, including Best Picture, Best Director (William Friedkin) and Best Actor for Hackman.

Clint Eastwood western triple bill in which he both stars and directs. In 'Pale Rider' a community of gold mining prospectors comes under attack from a gang of marauders, who are after the prospectors' land. Young Megan Wheeler (Sydney Penny) prays for help, which consequently arrives in the form of the Preacher (Eastwood), a grim, silent stranger. The Preacher takes up the community's cause, and sets out to repel the invaders. In 'The Outlaw Josey Wales', Josey Wales (Eastwood) is a peaceful farmer at the time of the American Civil War who becomes a Confederate outlaw in order to avenge his family's death at the hands of Union guerillas. His obsession with revenge slowly lifts, however, as he picks up various outcasts in the wilderness. Wales tries to protect his new 'family' by leading them to a safe haven where they can rebuild their lives. Finally in 'Unforgiven, it is 1880s Kansas and ageing gunslinger-turned-farmer William Munny (Eastwood) reluctantly agrees to come out of retirement to help Ned Logan (Morgan Freeman) collect the bounty on a wanted murderer. The man in question cut up a prostitute in a lawless town lorded over by the corrupt Sheriff Daggett (Gene Hackman), and if Munny and Logan want to catch him they are going to have to deal with Daggett first. A gritty western which brought a new level of critical respect to its director, Clint Eastwood, winning him the Oscars for Best Picture and Best Director (it also picked up the Best Supporting Actor award for Gene Hackman).

At the end of World War I, a division of the French Foreign legion led by Major Foster has been ordered to protect an archaeological expedition led by Marneau.

The last expedition was destroyed along with its legionnaire guards but Foster must follow orders, despite bis opposition to what he believes is "grave-robbing".

L.A. District Attorney Caulfield travels to a remote cabin in Canada to retrieve Carol Hunnicutt, a witness reluctant to testify in a top level mob slaying.

But a missing unknown element in the kryptonite -- replaced by Gorman with tar -- causes an unintended side effect when presented to Superman.

Superman 4: The Quest for Peace (1987)
Seeing the United States and the Soviet Union engaged in a nuclear arms race that could lead to Earth's destruction, Superman (Christopher Reeve) decides that he must take action. He collects all the nuclear warheads from the world and throws them into space. Meanwhile, Superman's nemesis, Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman), has broken out of prison with a new scheme. He clones Superman with radioactive material to create Nuclear Man (Mark Pillow), a being just as powerful as the man of steel.

Superman Returns (2006)
Adventure sequel set after the events of 'Superman II'. After eliminating General Zod and the other Kryptonian arch-villains, Ursa and Non, Superman (Brandon Routh) leaves Earth to search for his former home planet, Krypton. When he arrives he finds nothing but remnants and returns to Earth. Upon his return, he finds a Metropolis that doesn't need him anymore. Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth) is engaged to a relative of his boss (James Marsden), and to make matters worse, his arch-nemesis Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey) has contrived a plot to build a continent using the crystals of Krypton that will wipe out most of North America. Superman must again race against time to stop the psychopathic Luthor before it's too late.

Soaring even higher in a state-of-the-art digital transfer from restored elements and with dynamically remixed digital audio, the Academy Award - winning adventure also now includes eight minutes intergrated into the film director Richard Donner.
