Brenda Florian had been a starter on the Wilber-Clatonia volleyball team in the fall of 1982. The basketball team was loaded with talent. Brenda expected similar success during the winter sport. A sore knee had slowed her down, but she vowed to fight back. she had no idea that she would be fighting for her life.
