The Last Martyrs has two objectives: 1. Help the reader understand The Revelation of Jesus Christ as an exciting explanation of what is to come. 2. Encourage further study of God's prophecies. Satan stars in the first section. Direct quotes and paraphrases from the Bible, supplemented by lots of educated guesses, are used to construct what may have been his conversations with God, Eve, and his own cabinet of demons and his dealings with Job. These conversations set the stage for the End Times. Then the story fast forwards into the Twenty-First Century, featuring a band of decent folks who didn't quite make the Rapture but resist the Antichrist and refuse to wear his mark. The view in this section then goes behind the scenes with the Antichrist and his False Prophet, and climaxes with Christ's return to establish His Millennial Kingdom. Finally, appendices map events from the novel to chapter and verse of scripture and provide arguments to explain some of the threads that may not be intuitively obvious to the reader and to fill in Heavenly scenes not in the drama.
