Almost all of the siblings had scattered into the lands many
seasons past, drawn by the gift, to study and to become . . .
something. Sar'al, First Princess of Nu'vern, suddenly crowned "The
Queen of the Seven Lands," has been directed to do a thing which
she must do . . . unite all the folk of the other lands, convince
them to accept her as their Queen. In all the history of Nu'vern,
this had never before happened. She had been told why this was
necessary and that she "should considered this as a learning
experience " And so, the tale unfolds.

D. Grant, a moderately successful author among the people who is
also known as Daliera Fontala, Head of House Dartha Na (of The

people. In the process she saves a Feyra House from destruction and
starts, hopefully, The Feyra in a slightly new direction while
still remaining The Hidden Ones.
Things are always happening to John Tinker and the rest of himself.
This time it started rather innocently with a house guest, a number
member of the Grandeville Police Department, Ms. Braidna Chin Lee,
the daughter of the Number One Cook at Chen's Chinese. But, as it
seems to happen, things out there in the universe of universes get
involved. And one again, grumbling and mumbling to himself, Tinker
finds himself deeply involved in a complicated scheme not of his
own choosing.
John Tinker, once again entangled with the affairs of the universe
of universes, finds himself assisting an individual from ancient
mythology, much to everyone's surprise.
D. Grant, a moderately successful and moderately well-known author
learned, not all that too long ago, that she was really one of The
Feyra, The Hidden Ones, a strangely skilled sub-species of Homo
sapiens, called "the people" by The Feyra. She also learned that
her true name was Daliera Fontala, called by some Daliera of The
Fontala. And as things so often happen, she finally learned what
her name really meant, and in the process found that she was
becoming involved in certain activities of the people, activities
that The Feyra have spent thousands of years avoiding.
