Library profession especially in Pakistan is under developing stage. It is pertinent to grasp the trends which not only change the face of the libraries but re-shaped the librarian's role in new information society. The purpose of the study is to discover the status of the job market for Library Professionals in Sindh, Pakistan, and to examine the job titles used in advertisements. Content analysis was applied to discover the status of the LIS job market. LIS Professional vacancies from 2004-2008 in four leading newspapers were analysis. There were 282 announcements during that time.

I am really pleased to introduce to the readers of ELT world my second book. This book is basically addressed to the low level of learners in English writing particularly, those who remain blocked at times or before beginning to write.I am practicing since a very long time effectively the writing strategies with my students at my university and at some other places. There is a very high amount of reliability that these tasks if practiced with some sense of motivation will yield wonderful results.More importantly, this teaching program is more ideal in teaching of English as a foreign language. However, the benefits of suggested techniques and procedures can be long lasting in any setting around the world.

Fish and other aquatic biota may be harmed by pesticide-contaminated water.Pesticide surface runoff into rivers and streams can be highly lethal to aquatic life, sometimes killing all the fish in a particular stream.Application of herbicides to bodies of water can cause fish kills when the dead plants rot and use up the water's oxygen, suffocating the fish.Some herbicides, such as copper sulfite, that are applied to water to kill plants are toxic to fish and other water animals at concentrations similar to those used to kill the plants. 35] Repeated exposure to sublethal doses of some pesticides can cause physiological and behavioral changes in fish that reduce populations, such as abandonment of nests and broods, decreased immunity to disease, and increased failure to avoid predators.

If one thing could be taught to the people, especially to the leaders, I will always vote for Emotional Intelligence in the first place. I am not regarding Emotional Intelligence as Panacea, but one thing is very certain that any leader possessing this trait can surmount other leaders who don't. This book is a scientific exploration that how the educational leaders can employee Emotional Intelligence into their job and how this distinctive competence can heighten their leadership attributes. Countries like Pakistan where there is so much potential in every field and so much is still needed to be done, one must start from the Educational Sector and it must be instituted at the grass root level for its lasting sway.

The book titled 'ELT and Development of Communicative Abilities of University Students in Pakistan' is a first attempt of its kind to look at the problems faced by the English language Learners in Pakistan. Based on contemporary research and the perception data collected from students, the book presents a very comprehensive program to improve the English language efficiency of the undergraduate students in Pakistan particularly in the province of Sindh. The main focus of the book is that by following the communicative approach to language learning( through activities) the the students can very easily overcome their deficiency and can be fluent in speaking and writing and can be effective readers and careful listeners of the target language- English.

Subdivision for curves and surfaces has gained popularity in Computer Graphics and Computer Aided Geometric Design during the past two decades. In this dissertation, we design a hexahedral-based, approximation scheme. Ternary wavelets based on an interpolating 4-point ternary stationary subdivision scheme for compressing fractal-like signals are introduced. In this dissertation, error bounds between binary/ternary subdivision curves/surfaces and their control polygons after k-fold subdivision in terms of the maximal differences of the initial control point sequences and constants that depend on the subdivision mask is estimated. The bound is independent of the process of subdivision and can be evaluated without recursive subdivision. Our technique is independent of parameterizations therefore it can be easily and efficiently implemented.
