In book three of the Fierce Trilogy, "Epic" brings this Rubenesque
coming-of-age series to a close, tying up the final crises keeping
our intrepid but beleaguered reality couple, Jace and Jordi, from
their fairytale ending.
Plus-sized singing sensation Jordi Hemphill is on the quest of a
lifetime. Set adrift in the previous book, "Unstoppable," she must
fill new, gaping holes in her family tree. It begins as an escape,
but it ends up the ultimate confrontation of the demons that
continue to haunt her from her abusive past. Worse, she still
struggles through current scandals, splashed on every tabloid for
the world to see. As a result, her career stagnates while Jace Riga
is on a rocket to super-stardom, tearing the star-crossed lovers
even further apart.
Though she has filed for divorce, she is still regrettably tied to
Eddie, her weaselly husband in name only. He gleefully proceeds
with his plan to woo and ultimately con Jordi's estranged friend,
Shelby Goddard, to tap into her family's wealth. He moves to
Tennessee to cozy up to her domineering father, Coy, who has just
announced his run for the Senate. Together he and Eddie get closer
and closer to a seat of power, while Shelby continues to languish
in ill health and depression. Jordi debates on whether she can make
the sacrifice needed to save her friend, but it could pound the
final hammer into her career and end her own dreams of
super-stardom for good.
It doesn't help that a fellow musician, Griffin Slade, drives her
insecurities even further down the tubes. This unapologetic ladies
man feeds into all of Jordi's insecurities as they are thrust
together in project after project. His aloof demeanor only
underscores all the rest of her esteem issues, all of which
threaten to drive her back to her one true comfort: food.
Jace remains stubbornly steadfast, trying to save Jordi from her
self-destructive behavior. But this final lesson Jordi has to learn
alone. She can no longer depend on Jace, her family, or the world
giving her the validation she has been denied for so long. She must
dig deep, work hard, and let go - or else she'll lose everything
she's fought so hard to achieve.
In the end, only Jordi can save Jordi. This is her journey of
self-discovery, and at long last, self-acceptance.
Rachel Dennehy had a crazy thought. If she could just start over
somewhere else, she could forget about her sad and tragic past and
all the ghosts that chased her. When an email landed in her inbox,
to tutor a difficult student whose father just happened to be the
CEO of one of the biggest companies in the nation, the apple was a
bit too enticing for Rachel to refuse. She moves from Texas to
Beverly Hills, where she is tasked with turning around her wealthy
pupil's bad attitude. It is a bad attitude that stems almost
entirely from his parents' ugly divorce and even uglier custody
battle. That her new boss Andrew, or Drew, Fullerton is one of the
handsomest and most eligible bachelors in the world means nothing
to Rachel. She has absolutely no plans to ever marry or have kids
of her own. Her priority is teaching nine-year-old Jonathan, who
needs her guidance and her direction and... most importantly... her
friendship. Drew's brother, Alex, however, assumes otherwise. He
basically accuses her of being a gold-digging opportunist upon
their first meeting. This sets the two immediately at odds, though
they both have young Jonathan's best interest at heart. Alex
believes that Rachel is a "ringer," a wholesome alternative to edge
Jonathan's socialite mother out of the running for custody, since
she left Drew after her own salacious affair with a younger man. He
wastes no time in telling Rachel that as long as she stays in her
job, she will keep Jonathan from his real mother, and that is the
driving force behind Drew's interest. Unfortunately the more he
tries to warn her away from Drew, the closer he ultimately propels
her toward her charming boss. Drew never questions her motivation
or her presence because Jonathan thrives under her tutelage, and
Drew is beguiled by her no-nonsense attitude that challenges him
from the start. Rachel navigates these choppy waters solely to
protect Jonathan. She sees the adults in the family as
self-serving; most of whom are far more interested in hurting each
other than taking care of this fragile, vulnerable boy. Her heart
traps her into this sticky web, despite her own history of loss and
betrayal. How long will she last? More importantly, what will she
be required to give to save these Fullerton men who continually tug
her in three different directions? The saga begins with the first
book, titled "Enticed," due to release in early 2014. Author Ginger
Voight returns to the dream-making landscape of Los Angeles, in a
new tale that throws back the curtain on the dangerous power,
appeal and excess of the privileged. Only by the time this tale is
done, one principle character will pay the ultimate price as they
all race toward that elusive happily ever after.
"His eyes were rimmed red when they met mine. "I die inside every
time he touches you, and there's nothing I can do about it. You've
made it clear that you're going to go on with this sham of a
marriage, no matter who it hurts in the process. You lie to
everyone, Jordi, including the people you're supposed to love the
most. And I just can't take it anymore. This is not the way I want
to live my life." "I thought I was worth it," I mumbled. "You have
no idea what you're worth," he said softly. "That's the problem.""
In book #2 of the Fierce saga, Jordi Hemphill has joined her true
love Jace Riga on cross-country tour with Giovanni Carnevale and
Dreaming in Blue. The star-crossed lovers anticipate the freedom to
explore their burgeoning relationship, despite the continued
complications of her ties to her tormentor Eddie Nix and Jace's new
standing as a rock icon. Nothing is as it seems, which make the
pair fodder for the rumor mill. Forces from all directions threaten
to tear them apart, but it is Jordi's own insecurities that drive a
wedge between the aspiring diva and her hero. Author Ginger Voight
further delves into the key issues that keep Jordi from defeating
her demons once and for all. This sweeping saga unearths
revelations that will rock Jordi's world forever... and set her on
the path to the path to her story's epic conclusion.

All her life, Jordi Hemphill was told that she needed to change to
fit in and be accepted. She talked too much, laughed too loud, and
most definitely, indisputably and inexcusably weighed too much. In
fact, she wore her size-20+ clothes without so much as an apology.
She didn't care to fit in. She didn't want to be beautiful.
Instead, she wanted to wear her hair in funky colors, she itched
for tattoos and piercings, and dreamed of a life much bigger than
working at the local Burger Palace for minimum wage. She had been
born with the voice of a superstar, and something inside her told
her it was OK to dream big, even if she had to do it in secret. On
her eighteenth birthday, she takes every last cent she has and buys
a one-way ticket for Los Angeles. She is sure her talent will get
her noticed by those more open-minded to see it. Then and only then
will she show all the naysayers in her hometown that she was a
somebody no matter what they thought. Unfortunately Los Angeles
isn't any more welcoming. Jordi didn't fit into their pop machine
no matter how well she sang. Other pop princess had the "full
package," whereas Jordi still needed to change if she wanted her
dreams to come true. It takes a plus-size TV producer to take a
chance on her, casting her for a reality talent show called
"Fierce," which put attitude and talent far above the traditional
pop star image. Thanks to Giovanni Carnevale, the lead singer of
"Dreaming in Blue" and "Fierce's" rock star judge, Jordi gets a
chance to fight for her place on a national stage. But will America
embrace this alternative diva? Or will they too expect her to
conform in order to be accepted... to be loved? Despite the
acceptance of new friends and supporters, old ghosts continue to
haunt Jordi on her new journey. It will take handsome fellow
contestant, Jace Riga, to finally help expose and exorcise the
demons that drive her self-destruction. "Fierce" continues the
story introduced in the Ginger Voight novel, "Mogul," where Jordi
joins a hodge-podge of other contestants to battle for the
championship that dares every single hopeful to live large, to be
FIERCE. Ginger Voight, the author of the best-selling "Groupie"
series, brings fame once again to the forefront with her new adult
story, "Fierce." The characters you grew to love in the "Groupie"
trilogy and "Love Plus One" are back to help the incomparable Jordi
Hemphill carve a place for her as a pop princess despite the odds
in this coming-of-age Rubenesque romance.
When full-figured Caitlin O'Neil moves to Los Angeles to begin her
career as a creative director at an up-and-coming art gallery, she
feels confident that after years of self-imposed celibacy she can
find a suitable gent for a long awaited romance. Los Angeles was a
sea of millions of souls, after all. How hard could it be to land
one who was intelligent, kind, romantic and appreciated a
successful, fun-loving gal with generous curves? After a few
disastrous non-starts, however, Caitlin decides romance is a safer
concept when contained within her mailbox. Anonymous and poetic
picture postcards arrive every week without fail, addressed to the
former occupant, and weave a romantic mystery reality can't quite
match. Around the time they stop, a couple of men enter Cait's life
who turn her heart upside down. One is the suave and sophisticated
Reuben, who whisks her away on unforgettable dates to sweep her
completely off her feet. Her other steady is her best friend
Robert, a romantic cynic who keeps her laughing and always comes to
her rescue when she needs him the most. Will they be able to fill
the gap left by the mysterious postcard writer? Or, as the
postcards mysteriously start up again - this time to Caitlin
herself, could it be possible that one of these two very different
men the man she'd been dreaming of all along? It's just a 20th
Century fairy tale, made possible by the United States Postal
Service.
Reese Mackenzie built a life around fantastic fabrication. As a top
reporter at an international tabloid magazine, she made headlines
with stories that involved mythical creatures in modern settings.
Real life was often quite a scary place for Reese, who had battled
her entire life against eerie premonitions that always managed to
come true. Things get a little too real when the photo of a dead
girl right from her nightmares ends up on Reese's desk. Instead
Reese finagles her way all the way to Romania to investigate
something a lot safer: a vampire. However once Reese and her
co-worker, Brody, hit Bucharest, she makes a disheartening
discovery. Her psychic gift - or curse - kicks into overdrive,
especially concerning the victims of a serial killer who fancies
himself a vampire. Victims turn up completely drained of all their
blood from puncture holes in the neck, in some gruesome encore
performance of the Transylvania of lore. Instead of limiting
themselves strictly to her dreams, Reese's premonitions begin to
arrive via physical contact with future victims. While she tries to
piece together her erratic psychic evidence, Romanian police,
desperate to find their killer, zone in on her implausible
connection to each of the victims. It's a pathway of clues that
could lead her to the killer, or send her completely over the edge.
TASTE OF BLOOD is the psychological thriller from author Ginger
Voight, whose genre-bending novels like MY IMMORTAL and DIRTY
LITTLE SECRETS dig into the macabre to unearth suspense, romance
and drama.
The Double A Ranch was established in the Texas Panhandle in 1886,
and run by an Austin for more than a hundred years. Jessica Austin
had accepted this mantle with pride when her beloved parents
perished in a killer tornado just after her 21st birthday, and
worked hard to ensure that her ancestral home was secure. It was
the only thing she had left, and the only thing that she trusted.
As a young woman she faced an uphill battle establishing authority
over a crew of men. By the time she was almost 30, she thought she
had things pretty much in control, including her steadfast single
status. She packed dozens of extra pounds on top of her bad
attitude toward cocky cowboys to ensure that she'd neither tempt or
be tempted. Everything was going along as planned until one stormy
afternoon when strange and arrogant man happened upon her
innocently skinny dipping in a secluded creek. Dalton McBride was
the most infuriating and cocky cowboy she'd met yet, especially
when he finagled his way onto the payroll. It soon became all too
apparent to Jessica that he was the most dangerous kind of man
there was. She wanted him as much as he wanted her. When her lawyer
confided that she might lose her beloved homestead if she doesn't
come up with a groom pronto, Dalton let her know he was all too
eager to offer his temporary services as a husband for hire.
Jessica accepted the business proposal but gave away much more than
that. For the first time in her life she had fallen in love. She
only had twelve months to call Dalton her man, and all she could
hope was that by the year's end he'd love her far too much to
leave. Heartache, joy, heat and desire all await Jessica under
unpredictable Texas skies.
In the third and final book of the Fullerton Family Saga,
long-simmering secrets explode with disastrous consequences. The
fractured Fullertons face their biggest challenges yet, and every
single one must rise to their own personal challenges and beat
their demons once and for all - no matter what it takes. In the
conclusion of this best-selling, highly rated series, author Ginger
Voight once again raises the stakes for her characters and her
readers. These characters you have grown to love (and hate) are
faced with heart-wrenching challenges that will test them unlike
anything they've experienced so far. In the end, only love can save
them. It is a message of hope, family and forgiveness amidst the
exciting backdrop of excess and power.
In Book 2 of the Fullerton Family Saga, teacher Rachel Dennehy
heads back to California to save her favorite little boy from his
rapid downward spiral. She feels responsible for Jonathan's
destructive behavior, knowing it was her broken promise that sent
him off the rails. She moves in with Alex, a man who had been her
nemesis for so long. Thrust together with the shared goal of saving
Jonathan, they find more in common than they had realized. In fact,
it is Alex who comes to her rescue Drew confronts Rachel over her
"betrayal." The chemistry still burns hot between them, but Rachel
cannot forgive Drew's cruel deception. Unfortunately he is
unwilling to let her go. Drew Fullerton doesn't like to lose,
especially to his younger brother. So he proceeds with his plan to
win her back, using every trick in the book to force her hand,
including his son. Young Jonathan holds fast to his dream of a real
family, which tears her in yet another direction. Her heart is torn
between the three Fullertons, all of whom need her in very
different ways. Someone is going to get hurt, no matter what she
does. She struggles to do what is right, even when she finds it
puts her at direct odds with what she wants. How far must Rachel go
to win back Jonathan's trust, and protect the men she has grown to
love?
Some skeletons in the closet are real. Just ask Grace McKinney, who
is haunted, quite literally, by the sins of her past. A boy with
wavy brown hair and vacant dark eyes would pop up unannounced to
frightfully remind her that no matter where she went in this life,
her dirty little secrets always rode shotgun. This ghost bore
gleeful witness to her slow suicide. At nineteen, Grace had already
succumbed to alcohol and drug addiction, thanks mostly to her
other, more human tormentor, Mike Beyer. Mike, too, was haunted by
the past. Instead of turning his abuse inward, he spread it to his
wife, their children and of course, to Grace. He was determined to
make everyone pay for the things he lost, and who better than a
vulnerable teenage girl who would do anything to keep the past
secret from her father? And indeed it was her father that Mike had
good reason to hate, and a real desire to punish. Reverend Ezekiel
McKinney ruled his home and his church with an iron fist. Any
congregant who dared to step out of line would be outed and
humiliated and forced to make a public choice - God, or sin. And
Zeke knew that choice all too well because he was doing a lifetime
penance for his own crimes of passion. His wife, Olivia, shared the
burden of this secret, as well as the penance. She knew her place,
and expected her daughter to also tow the line without complaint.
That Grace had strayed so far down the wrong path was a source of
continual embarrassment for the church and for Olivia herself. She
was ready to do anything to set the course straight again. These
fragile houses of cards began to crumble when a strange, exotic
beauty named Lauren Olsen came into Grace's life the minute she
needed her most - the day she accidentally killed Mike's pregnant
wife, Debbie. It will be the first domino to fall that unearths all
the dirty little secrets that had haunted them all. Best selling
author Marie D. Jones provides the forward for "Dirty Little
Secrets," a story that takes an unflinching look at the shame and
self-destruction caused by sexual abuse and religious extremism.
Though this 19-year old's dramatic coming of age, we are reminded

darkest circumstances. 10% of all sales will be donated to RAINN,
