Erst eine angemessene Passung von individuellen Gegebenheiten (Be durfnissen und Kompetenzen) und Kontextbedingungen schafft gunstige Voraussetzungen fur die Entwicklung von Kindern. Andernfalls konnen gerade in Zeiten dramatischen Umbruchs Risikofaktoren akkumulieren, weil die individuelle Entwicklung durch verschiedene Kontexte (Familie, Schule, Altersgleiche) beeinflusst wird. Diese Tatsache kann allerdings auch bedeu ten, dass Krisen im makrookonomischen Bereich durch sozio-emotionale Unterstutzungsfaktoren im unmittelbaren Kontext der Familie und Schule aufgefangen werden, so dass sich keine negativen Auswirkungen auf Kinder ergeben. Dies ist durch einige Ergebnisse in dem Berichtsteil .. Kindheit" (vgl. Trommsdorff & Chakkarath 1996) deutlich geworden und entspricht im ubrigen neueren entwicklungspsychologischen Befunden (vgl. EIder 1974; EIder & Caspi 1991; Conger et al. 1992; 1994).
