In Bridging the Gap, Glen Williams takes readers on a police
officer's journey from optimistic rookie to jaded veteran and
shares traumatic events he experienced and how they developed into
PTSD. He describes how he built walls to protect himself, stopped
communicating, and how this led to two divorces. Glen then talks
about how he relearned to open up, communicate openly and develop
the good relationship he now lives in. Bridging the Gap gives ways
to deal with and reduce stress and ways to take traumatic events
and rephrase them so they can be shared safely, thus, bridging the
gap in communication that has been created.
