This is the story of Betsy Lynn and her best friend Kaya who
live in Alaska. Kaya is a full blooded Eskimo girl. Because they
live on an island, called Kodiak, they have to take a ferry boat to
get to the main land of Alaska. This is always great fun for them.
They both live a way from the nearest town of Kodiak, which is also
the name of their island. It tells of the girl's relationships with
their parents, friends at school, and their relatives. It's sad in
some parts, and exciting in others. They also have some adventures
in the wild country in which they live. Because they live away from
the nearest town, they sometimes have to use snowmobiles and their
horses to get around. I think you'll enjoy reading about Betsy Lynn
and her friend Kaya's ventures together. Life is never boring in
the beautiful state of Alaska.
If you love dogs, then I think you'll like reading this book about
Jenny and her friend Lesley. This book is about so many different
things that happen to Corky and Jenny. If you like mysteries,
making friends out of your enemies, learning what it's like to have
a job at ten years old, being called to go to a police station,
what it feels like to lose a pet, and seeing who turns out to be a
hero in this book, please read it and I know you'll love it
A story for girls who love to read, and would like to experience
the love that this book gives. Merribell was a lively, beautiful
orphan girl whose life was changed after she was adopted, and
finally found the real reason why she was chosen out of so many
girls, especially being eight years old. Why her? Catherine Foster,
the one who would adopt Merribell, was raised in a very wealthy
home as an only child. She was very selfish and self-centered,
probably because she received very little love from her parents.
What made her later, want to adopt this particular orphan girl that
would make such a drastic change in her future? She had experienced
much sadness and tragedy in her life. Would this adoption be the
start of a completely new and better life for Catherine Foster? And
you'll also meet Mattie, Merribell's best friend, and how she
became a part of Merribell's life as well. I know you'll enjoy the
sweet love this book will put into your heart.

It's a wonderful time of the year, being the Christmas season and
all. Children are so excited with all the preparations of Christmas
going on all around them. They love hearing stories about Santa
Claus, elves, the North Pole and so many things just like this.
This is the story of a little elf named Stanley, and his secret
wish to do something that no other elf has ever done before.
Stanley has a special friend, Emily, who helps encourage him,
because he is one of the littlest elves. Emily understands Stanley
and the way he feels, because Emily is little just like he is. Will
Stanley get his wish? If he does, will it lead to trouble?
Jack and Jill went up the hill . . . oh never mind, you know that
nursery rhyme. I'm sure you do. But was it really Jack who fell
down that hill first? What about this girl named Jill? How does she
fit into all of this? Well, I'm here to tell you the real story
about these two. Jill is always getting into some kind of a
predicament that often turns into a real adventure, and everyone
loves reading about a good adventure. I think you'll enjoy seeing
how Jill gets herself into these messes, and how her friend Jack
helps her get out of them. Oh, and by the way, is it Jack and Jill,
or Jill and Jack?
