Hiking and backpacking in the Ventana Wilderness of the Los Padres National Forest in Big Sur, California. Color Photographic Edition
Please be sure to purchase Volumes 1 and 2 for the complete book, both available on Amazon.com. The author states that the 2 volumes together constitute one book and one story and cannot be understood correctly if only one volume is obtained. Normally the two volumes would have been bound together as one book but the bindery facilities for print on demand books are inadequate for this requirement. In the past, thousands of large books have been bound in one volume but this is not always possible anymore, as technology takes us ever backward in time. This book was not intended to be a comprehensive study of evil, but only sketch out some of the central issues in the benchmark period in history in which we live. Benchmark because I feel that America and the world is in great danger of social and political disintegration. World-wide population expansion, the drain on resources and finance, and the rise of radical groups and violence may very well see the end of us. I see the possibility of another Adolph Hitler and the world again falling into authoritarianism, war and chaos. The rise of militant Islamists and radical militias in the U.S. acts as lighting rods for terrorists, and quite a few Americans are joining terrorist training camps in the Middle East and Africa. The decline of the West and perhaps "civilization" as we know it is in sight. Great hatred is being created anew in our own country and in the world. Irrational hatred and fear has always been the cause of massive trouble in the world at times of economic depression, dislocation and unemployment. These are the conditions that gave birth to Hitler and the rise of fascist dictatorships and the loss of political and social rights - while their people and conquests become totalitarian nations of slaves as Hitler's Germany had been.

"This Autumn" is a poetic tale of new found love between two strangers, doomed from the start, but wonderful as long as it lasts.

"Collected Films, Volume I" contains four stories by best-selling author Harrison Edward Livingstone. The first, "The Little Princess," is a ballet story for children and their families to enjoy, telling a tale of an abused runaway who attaches herself to a ballet company. "The Castle" is set in England during the time of Elizabeth I-but supposing that there was another monarch-and begins with the beautiful, rich widow of Henry VIII, a funny bawdy comedy that takes history on another path. "Hitler" brings us up close and personal with the greatest monster of our time. The film is constructed from a secret World War II study of his secret life, as told to investigators by those who knew him. It is also the fictional story of Anna, an educated, intelligent American girl, who represents love, tenderness, and decency in the face of horror. "Chaos" is a film about Jack, an artist, and a young girl-too young in society's view-who gives him all she has as he gives to her. Their deep love is smashed to pieces by the jealous, the indecent-those who live by double standards and the false morals of society, until all is lost in the shattering conclusion.
This book brings together all the principal evidence demonstrating conspiracy in the assassination of President Kennedy and shows the linkage to radical U.S. Rightists.
Set against some of the most beautiful sea scenes ever written, "The Wild Rose" tells of a turbulent Atlantic crossing when an old chief and young third mate must face a sinister captain and a lawless crew. 'A foursquare sea novel in the tradition of Herman Melville." "-Prof. William Alfred Harvard University"
.".".They thought of me as odd. Some made fun of me. Others attacked me. And now and then someone took pity and befriended me, and was there when I tried to talk. But for years after I would still awake screaming in the night, terrified, thousands of miles away, dreaming it over and over..."" David Johnson is a young man on the run. Behind him lies the wreckage of a broken childhook and a broken home. The memory of beatings that never end. The piercing hatred in his mother's eyes. Behind David Johnson lies a past as harsh and vivid as an open wound-a dream that becomes a nightmare from which he may not wake. Boston. Paris. New York. New Orleans. Hobbs, New Mexico. San Francisco and L.A. There is no pattern to David Johnson's flight, and no direction. What friends he makes alsong the way he quickly loses. The jobs he has are meaningless. His future is as empty and as threatning as his past. And then comes the day when David Johnson discovers he can run no further-that the nightmare of his life is not a dream at all. The story of David's descent into madness and the brutally affirmative beginings of his struggle up again is an extraordinary reading expereince. The voice of the narrator is the voice of one who has known the pain of which he writes- and savored the triumph of his survival. By his candor and art, he makes that pain and triumph ours.
