This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 4th European Conference on Multimedia Applications, Services and Techniques, ECMAST'99, held in Madrid, Spain in May 1999.The 37 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 71 submissions. The book is divided in sections on services and applications, multimedia terminals, content creation, physical broadcast infrastructure, multimedia over the Internet, metadata, 3D imaging, multicast protocols, security and protection, and mobility.

This volume presents the proceedings of the International COST 237 Workshop, held in Vienna in November 1994 in the framework of the CEC COST 237 Multimedia Telecommunications Services Projects.
The 24 papers presented in revised version were selected from 46 submissions; they are organized in sections on teleservices, multimedia mail, archiving and retrieving; teleservice support; quality of service and synchronization; multipeer communication; broadband network transport issues; and variable bit rate video coding transport.

The non-deterministic nature of data science and its inherent analytical tasks require an interactive approach towards an evolutionary step-by-step development to realize core essential business applications and use cases.The 4th International Data Science Conference (iDSC) 2021 brought together researchers, scientists, and business experts to discuss means of establishing new ways of embracing agile approaches within the various domains of data science, such as machine learning and AI, data mining, or visualization and communication as well as case studies and best practices from leading research institutions and business companies.
