In this instalment, troubled private detective Cormoran Strike (Tom Burke) is approached by a young man who claims he witnessed a murder as a child. As he investigates and discovers the man's claims may be unreliable, Strike learns of a blackmail plot involving prominent politician Jasper Chilwell (Robert Glenister). Strike's secretary Robin Ellacott (Holliday Grainger) goes undercover to solve the case, but when Chiswell is found dead Strike and Robin are tasked with solving his murder.

Directed by Cary Fukunaga and also starring Judi Dench as the housekeeper, Mrs Fairfax, this latest re-telling of Bronte's popular story makes use of modern cinematic techniques while remaining true to the novel's intent.

Kenneth Branagh directs this live-action fairy tale adaptation starring Lily James, Richard Madden, Cate Blanchett and Helena Bonham Carter. When her widowed father remarries to Lady Tremaine (Blanchett), Ella (James) does her best to be welcoming to her stepmother and her new stepsisters Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Drizella (Sophie McShera). However, after the unexpected death of her father, Ella finds herself being mistreated by Lady Tremaine and her daughters, forced to be a servant and nicknamed 'Cinderella'. One day in the woods she encounters a handsome stranger and believes him to work in the Palace, not realising he is in fact Prince Charming (Madden). Ella's household receives an invitation to a royal ball and Ella hopes she will get the chance to see the young man again. When Lady Tremaine refuses to let her attend the ball, a friendly fairy (Bonham Carter) steps in to lend a helping hand.
