This book is based on a collection of homework problems, design
projects and sample interview questions for the VLSI High-Speed I/O
Circuits class (EEE598) the author offered in the School of
Engineering at Arizona State University. The materials cover
various aspects of the design, analysis and application of VLSI
high-speed I/O circuits. This book is intended to be used together
with the VLSI High-Speed I/O Circuits textbook by the same author.
It can also be used alone for the experienced readers.
This is a texbook developed for a VLSI circuit design course series
(EEE598) that the author has been offering in the Schools of
Engineering at Arizona State University. The materials are
organized into eighteen special topics covering the principles, the
circuit design techniques and the applications of VLSI modulation
in signal processing, data conversion, power amplification and
power management.
This text is developed from the notes of a VLSI circuit design
class (EEE598) the author offered in Engineering School at Arizona
State University. The materials cover the structural design
approaches of single-stage, two-stage, and 3-stage VLSI operational
amplifier circuits based on the symmetry principle, symmetry
circuit structures, prototype circuits, and symmetry
scaling/transformation techniques.
This book covers structural VLSI analog circuit design techniques
for analog circuit blocks, such as operational amplifiers, PLL/DLL,
bandgap reference, A/D D/A converters. Symmetry principles,
structures, and methods are used to effectively mitigate VLSI PVT
and other variations for better performance, functionality, and
design productivity.
This book is based on a collection of the past exams for the VLSI
Analog Signal Processing Circuits class (EEE598) the author offered
in the School of Engineering at Arizona State University. The
topics cover various aspects of the design, analysis and
application of VLSI analog signal processing circuits. This book is
intended to be used together with the VLSI Analog Signal Processing
Circuits textbook by the same author. It can also be used alone for
the experienced readers.
Complete coverage of VLSI signal processing circuits-from
scientific theory to design and practical applications This
comprehensive electrical engineering textbook offers in-depth
discussions on the analysis, design, and application of VLSI analog
filters and circuits in microelectronic systems and signal
processing environments. The book shows how VLSI circuit techniques
can be applied to solve real-world design problems that demand the
scaling down of device geometries while meeting cost, power,
function, reliability, and other constraints. VLSI Analog Circuits:
Algorithm, Architecture, Modeling, and Circuit Implementation has
evolved from a course the author teaches at Arizona State
University, where the material presented in the book has been
classroom tested for more than 10 years. After a detailed overview
of VLSI technology, you will learn how to build accurate circuit
models and solve practical design problems. Mixed-mode circuit
configurations, RF signal processing, and digital-based analog
signal processing circuits are thoroughly covered. * In-depth
coverage makes this book highly suitable both as a textbook and a
professional reference * Instructor materials include lecture
PowerPoint slides and homework/project assignments * Written by an
experienced electrical engineering educator and VLSI expert
