The TARDIS arrives on Coldstar, a vast freezer satellite, packed
with supplies to feed a colony world. But there are cracks in the
ice, and something scuttles under the floors. Soon, Rose and the
Doctor encounter robots, space pirates and... refuse collectors. As
Coldstar's tunnels begin to melt, an even greater threat stirs
within. An old enemy of the Doctor puts a plan into action - a plan
for retribution. Nobody's vengeance is colder than an Ice
Warrior's. David Tennant's return to the role of the hugely popular
Tenth Doctor has been huge news both times it's happened for Big
Finish - with news of his teaming up with Billie Piper making
newspapers when it was announced. Billie Piper, famed British actor
of stage and screen, and companion Rose Tyler, reprises the role
for the first time since her departure in the tear-jerking
Journey's End Doctor Who story on BBC1. Guest star Nicholas Briggs
here provides the voices of iconic Doctor Who foe the Ice Warriors
- a duty he's performed on TV too (as well as for the Daleks,
Cybermen, and other creatures). CAST: David Tennant (The Doctor),
Billie Piper (Rose Tyler), Keziah Joseph (Lorna), Maureen
Beattie(Brona Volta), Sean Biggerstaf (Callum Volta), Anthony
Stuart-Hicks (Management / Bert) and Nicholas Briggs (Lord Hasskor
/ Commander Slaan).
The discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb in 1922 aroused unprecedented
excitement in the field of Egyptology. In the tomb of a "colourless
youth, who reigned for a few years only" were found unmatched
riches, the study of which has led to numerous insights into
ancient Egyptian civilization. The author of this fascinating text
discusses the tomb's discovery, the significance of its discovery
and contents, tomb-robbers, and the ethics of desecration.
The second series of adventures from Big Finish continues,
featuring Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor. Sometimes
things lurk below the surface which only the Doctor can see... From
a moon with poison seas, to a 19th century health spa, even
somewhere as everyday as a furniture store on a Sunday afternoon -
there are always hidden depths and unseen dangers to uncover! 3.1
The Seas of Titan by Lizbeth Myles. Out on Saturn's moon, Titan, an
outpost all-but-forgotten by Earth struggles on against the odds.
As the Doctor joins explorers deep in the methane seas, they
discover a hidden civilisation. But will the Sea Devils prove to be
the colony's salvation or its final destruction? 3.2 Lay Down Your
Arms by Lisa McMullin. 1864. Instead of relaxing at the Bad Homburg
Spa, its visitors are fighting. And Bertha Kinzky, housekeeper to
Alfred Nobel, is appalled. Perhaps the mysterious Herr Schmidt can
help? Soon, Bertha is contending with aliens, as well as her
mother's matchmaking, as she and the Doctor try to keep the peace.
3.3 Flatpack by John Dorney. Liv Chenka and Tania Bell are spending
Sunday afternoon on that most traditional of couple activities.
Furniture-shopping! But just how long has London's newest Flatpack
store been open? Who is its mysterious manager? And is it even
Sunday? Liv is about to run into a very old friend... CAST:
Christopher Eccleston (The Doctor), Rebecca Root (Tania Bell),
Nicola Walker (Liv Chenka), Sasha Behar (Diana Hendry), Jamie

the Earth to the stars, across an array of familiar times and

friends and enemies along the way. Tumbling through his lives, the
Doctor must stop his degeneration before he loses himself
completely...The Artist at the End of Time by James Goss. Suffering

Donna and the Doctor take a holiday in the beautiful underwater
city of Vallarasee. Things have changed since the Doctor last swam
through. Vallarasee is now enclosed in an airdome, with Judoon

breathing-helmets, native Fins are forced to adapt. But leaks are
trickling into the dome. The Judoon must be persuaded that disaster
is imminent, or thousands will be trapped, as the waters rise.
CAST: David Tennant (The Doctor), Catherine Tate (Donna Noble),
Nicholas Briggs (Judoon Captain /Clo / Judoon), Eleanor Crooks
(Patricia Derbyshire), Rakie Ayola (Andrea), Christopher Naylor

David Tennant and Catherine Tate arrive at Big Finish for three
brand new adventures as The Doctor and Donna Noble! Doctor Who -
Technophobia. When the Doctor and Donna visit London's Technology
Museum for a glimpse into the future, things don't go to plan. The
most brilliant IT brain in the country can't use her computer. More
worrying, the exhibits are attacking the visitors, while outside,
people seem to be losing control of the technology that runs their
lives. Is it all down to simple human stupidity, or is something
more sinister going on? Beneath the streets, the Koggnossenti are
waiting. For all of London to fall prey to technophobia. Doctor Who
- Time Reaver. Calibris. The spaceport planet where anything goes.
Where anyone who doesn't want to be found can be lost, and where
everything has its price. Where betentacled gangster Gully holds
sway at the smugglers' tavern, Vagabond's Reach. The alien
Vacintians are trying to impose some order on the chaos. Soon the
Doctor and Donna discover why. An illegal weapon is loose on the
streets. A weapon that destroys lives...Slowly and agonisingly.
Doctor Who - Death and the Queen. Donna Noble has never been lucky
in love. So when, one day, her Prince does come, she is thrilled to
have the wedding of all weddings to look forward to. Though the
Doctor isn't holding his breath for an invitation. And her future
mother-in-law is certainly not amused. But on the big day itself,
Donna finds her castle under siege from the darkest of forces,
marching at the head of a skeleton army. When it looks like even
the Doctor can't save the day, what will Queen Donna do to save her
people from Death itself? As a young actor, David Tennant played a
number of roles in Big Finish Doctor Who stories, unaware that one
day he'd be playing the Doctor on TV as it became the UK's Number 1
show! Catherine Tate is one of Britain's leading lights on stage

popular TV run as companion Donna Noble. Guest star Alice Krige is

"The book should be required reading for every clinician, medical
student, social worker, and therapist who cares for injured
patients, and especially for those who care for burned patients. It
also should be made widely available in bookstores for anyone who
has empathy for the ill and infirm or curiosity about
burns."--"Journal of the American Medical Association" Although
medical advances have remarkably increased the survival rate of the
severely burned, such patients still encounter physical and
psychological pain and disability, disfigurement, and social
rejection. "Rising from the Flames" examines the experience of the
severely burned as survivors confront it, not just as a medical
event but as a human ordeal involving social, cultural,
psychological, and medical trauma. It discusses the causes of
burns, the physiology of injury and healing, the forms of isolation
burn patients endure, and the cultural meaning attached to burns
and burned persons.

customers vanish, a 1920s gentleman's club besieged by giant
plants, and a distant colony planet where death hides in darkness -

of fear. Contains three new stories: 4.1 The Colour of Terror by

giant flowers – but Toby’s new valet seems to know what’s
going on. The Doctor could be London's only hope... 4.3 Red
Darkness by Roy Gill. The sunlight from Solis Kailya could

to end the conflict? What lines will he cross? How much of himself
will he sacrifice? The War Doctor is beginning to find out who he
is... and the consequences of fighting with monsters... 1. The
Mission. As the Time War takes on a dark new turn, the War Doctor
is tasked by the Time War Council with locating and assassinating a
Gallifreyan renegade waging their own private campaign against both
the Daleks and the Time Lords. Who is the mysterious
Barber-Surgeon, and can the Doctor complete his mission without
becoming all that he abhors? 2. The Abyss. The Doctor journeys

close behind and the mysterious Barber-Surgeon anticipating his
every move, he comes to suspect that this is one mission he won't
be coming back from. 3. The Horror. The Doctor is missing in
action. As Gallifrey and Skaro face total destruction, Time Lord
