In the 1950s, the Wade potteries of England and Ireland became
famous for the miniature ceramic figurines sold under the Whimsies
name. Decades later, Wade is still producing Whimsies and they are
popular with collectors of all ages. Over 800 striking
illustrations, mostly in color, detail the sets of Whimsies, along
with their presentation boxes, advertising literature, and flyers.
Over 160 black and white photos display the Wade makers' marks. The
Tom Smith Party Cracker figurines, miniature village sets,
premiums, and promotional figures are depicted and color and size
variations are noted. Current values are found in both US dollars
and UK pounds. Everyone who enjoys ceramic miniatures will treasure
this book.
A sequel to The World of Wade, this even larger book continues the

figures (including Disney), premiums, flowers, money banks,
souvenirs, whimsies, tankards, flower jugs, vases, teapots, cream
and sugar sets, advertising wares, liquor decanters, tableware
patterns, and royal commemoratives. In all, more than 1,300 items
are pictured in full color, plus hundreds more in black and white.
This book adds tremendously to our knowledge of Wade. Of special
interest is an updated history of the Wade potteries, including a
section on decorators and designers. Backstamps, reproductions and
reissues also receive careful attention. Well indexed for easy

This Game is a very obvious parody of the worst of comic and geek
culture cliches around and is not meant to be taken seriously. The
Core Rulebook for Whore's Blade Heroics provides all the rules you
need to play through the incredible, action packed struggles of
high kicking Superladies in the Kittiwake Comics World or any other
super-powered Universe. Whether you're a Hero, a Villain or
Something in Between, you had best be prepared for an epic clash of
super stockinged titans.
Advanced Combat rules for the Tough Justice Roleplaying Game. Grim
& Gritty lets you murder each other like you do in proper games
all the time!
Not all women could afford the class of the Courtesan. This game is
about these unfortunates. Struggling to survive by whoring,
thieving and even killing they are constantly at odds with the
state, the church and society at large. Ironically it is the money
extorted out of their Bawds that BUILT society at large. Doxy is
the most traditional of the History Farce games with a full Combat
system as well as variations on the evocative mental and social
mechanics of the other two games but it is also the least forgiving
and most startlingly fatalistic.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS GAME IS A SATIRE OF CERTAIN WARGAMES AND
EXTREME SOCIAL AND GENDER POLITICS AND IS NOT TO BE TAKEN
SERIOUSLY! Truly a Wargame like no other...Whore's Blade 20,000
puts its players through the Grimdark Meatgrinder of the 21s
Milennium An insane dictatorship in constant upheaval: The Empire
of Woman needs your help...It's time to decide on your loyalties
missy!
Three alternative settings for Courtesans including Gothic Horror,
Fantasy and Science Fiction. Ian Warner once again shows his joy in
all the horrible cliches of Roleplaying games in this sexy and
seditious best-seller. Requires Courtesans: A Roleplaying Game of
Sex and Society to use.
There has always been a special class of women who defy
conventional morality and family structures in order to achieve
power beyond any "legitimate" bride. These are the Courtesans. More
than mere common strumpets they are courted as much for their razor
sharp wits, minds and sporting skill as much as for sex. Set
primarily in the golden age of the English Courtesan between the
Restoration and the early 20th Centuries, Courtesans offers a
unique political and adversarial Roleplaying experience like no
other.
The first of the History Farce Series sends you back to the time of
the Bloody Code. With over 200 crimes carrying the death penalty
the players take on the roles of the Defence and Prosecution
Barristers and their various allies as they fight for what they see
as justice whether they're getting a guilty crook off or hanging an
innocent one.
