In this new, definitive edition, noted scholar John Michael Greer has taken this essential resource back to its original, authentic form. With added illustrations, a twenty-page colour insert, additional original material, and refreshed design and typography, this powerful work returns to its true stature as a modern masterpiece. An essential textbook for students of the occult, The Golden Dawn includes occult symbolism and Qabalistic philosophy, training methods for developing magical and clairvoyant powers, rituals that summon and banish spiritual potencies, secrets of making and consecrating magical tools, and more.

Long considered the best single introduction to the Qabalah for magicians, the third edition of Israel Regardie's A Garden of Pomegranates is now better than ever, thanks to the extensive annotations and new material by Chic Cicero and Sandra Tabatha Cicero. Their work has made A Garden of Pomegranates easier to understand, more complete, and up to date. It now includes over 300 pages of never-before-published information from two Senior Adepts of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. --Expands Regardie's definitive text into a practical manual for Qabalistic magic --Includes pathworkings and guided visualizations for the 32 Paths of Wisdom --Suggests a course of study for learning the Qabalah and incorporating its teachings into daily life --Shows how to create your own personal Qabalistic mantra using gematria or Hebrew numerology --Includes a technique for Rising on the Planes, so you can explore different Qabalistic worlds --Features a Middle Pillar-style exercise for exploring and activating different parts of the soul --Written by one of the most influential magical teachers of modern times and two of his personal students The Qabalah is the ancient system of Hebrew mysticism that is the foundation of Western magical and esoteric studies. Its primary symbol is the Tree of Life, a diagram that can aid in the study of the nature of the Universe, the essence of God, and the human mind, spirit, and soul. A Garden of Pomegranates is the clearest introductory guide on this subject. When Israel Regardie wrote A Garden of Pomegranates in 1932, he designed it to be a simple yet comprehensive guidebook outlining the complex system of the Qabalah and providing a key to its symbolism. Since then, it has achieved the status of a classic among texts on the Qabalah. The full annotations, critical commentary, and explanatory notes now make this book the ultimate single resource on the subject. The new material, including pathworkings, exercises, daily affirmations, rituals, meditations, and more, not only complement the original, full text included in this edition, but also make A Garden of Pomegranates indispensable for modern magicians.
A new edition of Regardie's classic text In the mid-1930s, Israel Regardie had an insight into understanding alchemical writings. The result was The Philosopher's Stone, where he analyzed three 17th-century alchemical works symbolically, psychologically, and via magickal energy. Now, famed occultists Chic and Tabatha Cicero bring this book into the 21st century. The original is completely reproduced here. The Hebrew transliterations have been updated with modern styles and the text is fully annotated and explained. Added are these new features: - New introduction - New illustrations - Biographical dictionary - Glossary - Resource list - Bibliography - Index Plus, five new original articles - "The Spiritual Alchemy of the Golden Dawn" by Chic Cicero- "Intro to Alchemy: A Golden Dawn Perspective" by Mark Stavish- "Basic Alchemy for the Golden Dawn" and "Golden Dawn Ritual Method and Alchemy" by Samuel Scarborough- "The Elixir of the Sun" by Steven Marshall- "Solve Et Coagula: The Wedding of Sol and Luna" by the Ciceros
2012 Reprint of 1945 Edition. Exact facsimile of the original edition, not reproduced with Optical Recognition Software. Israel Regardie, born Francis Israel Regudy (1907-1985) was an occultist and writer, author of books on the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. The exercise known as the "Middle Pillar" was devised by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Regardie expanded upon it and made it public over 60 years ago in the first edition of this book. Since that time, the exercise has been altered and adapted for just about any spiritual use you could think of. It is a mainstay of many Western traditions of magic. The exercise is intended as a technique to break the barrier between the conscious and unconscious. This classic work provides an introduction to magic and occultism while providing directions as to how to perform the Qabalistic Cross, the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram and the Middle Pillar exercise. It remains a classic book in the field.
In this newly rediscovered text, famed occultist Israel Regardie sheds light on the psychological/spiritual meaning behind the symbols and metaphors of alchemy. To this end, he presents an important seventeenth century alchemical treatise for analysis, "The True Book of The Learned Greek Abbot Synesius Taken out of The Emperor's Library," written by an anonymous alchemist. As in his previous book on alchemy (The Philosopher's Stone), Regardie discusses "The True Book of Synesius" in the language of Jungian psychology, magnetism, and hypnosis. But here the discussion is more specific, with Regardie citing his own unique experiences as a therapist and a healer. In Gold, Regardie explores the similarities between alchemical theory, Taoist philosophy, yoga, hypnosis, Zen Buddhism, and experiments with the human aura. Fully edited and annotated by Chic and Sandra Tabatha Cicero, Gold is the first new book by Regardie published in decades and includes two important appendices. First, Regardie talks about the practical use of the concepts, and the Ciceros reveal a previously unpublished version of Regardie's The Art of True Healing, containing the earliest version of this paper taken straight from the author's personal advance copy, complete with Regardie's own corrections penciled into the margins.
