..".full of interest to all who have a feeling for Africa." -Lord
MacKay "Thandabantu is the story of a man for whom the Lord Jesus
Christ was everything. Its author, Cameron Fraser, tenderly and
beautifully tells the poignant story of a wonderful missionary
teacher, James Fraser-the father he knew all too briefly. In a
simple and evocative way he records the spiritual qualities that
made him the man of God he was. Here is a book whose value is out
of all proportion to its size. It will move your emotions,
challenge your commitment, and refine you. It is an honour indeed
to be invited to commend it." -Sinclair B. Ferguson J. Cameron
Fraser (pictured here as a child in his father's arms) was born in
Zimbabwe and grew up in Scotland from about the age of five. After
graduating from the University of Edinburgh, he studied theology
and missions at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia
(with the initial intention of returning to Zimbabwe), and later
received a D.Min. degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
He is currently pastor of First Christian Reformed Church in
Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, where he lives with his wife,
Margaret. The Frasers have two sons, to whom this book is
dedicated.
