Camp follower is a term used to identify civilians who follow in the wake of armies to service their needs while encamped. In the 21st century these services are contracted to large corporations. These corporationsrecruit, process and deploy civilians to war zones in support of millitary operations. The story is set in Southern Afghanistan. The year is 2005, midway through his deployment Jim has an incredible opportunity to support the military on Forward Operating Bases(FOB's).
