Hilary Kelly receives an invitation to be in her best friend's
wedding and Lou Malloy decides that it would be best if he went
with her. Their destination is Manaus, Brazil on the edge of
Amazonia. Hilary is excited to see her friend, Maria Batista, only
to learn that all is not well when one of Maria's servants, Davi,
show up to enlist the aid of Hilary Kelly and Lou Malloy to drive
out the people trying to take over his Mistresses plantation. When
Hilary learns that her friend's fiance has been killed and she has
been forced to vacate her family's plantation where they have lived
since the late 1800s. Helping Hilary's friend would seem simple
enough for Lou Malloy, except he has to fight a corporate buyer by
the name of Henrich Jergins, hungry for land along the Rio Negro
River to add to an abandoned city where Jergins wants to create a
new Germany. Then there is the ruthless outlaw known as El Machete,
who likes to kill his prisoners by removing their heads. To mix
things up, there is a dangerous tribe of Indians who make shrinking
heads into an art form. Hilary is determined to help her friend and
enlists Malloy to figure out the best way to do that. While in
Manaus, Malloy meets the inscrutable Dondi Arterio, who is actually
a spy for Max's Homeland Security Organization and a Major in the
Brazilian Secret Service, ABIN, but brings a lot of skills when it
comes to surviving in the jungle. However, the solutions appear
limited for Malloy. He has to somehow save Hilary's friend from
being killed by two killers as well as fight off two eco-terrorists
who want to prevent the settlement of the rainforest at all costs.
When Malloy learns that the area was frequented by group of Vikings
when he reads an old diary about their exploits and that there is a
lost city in the mountain area of Brazil known as the Twin
Mountains. There he meets the leader of the Airomar Indians, who
looks more like a Viking than any Indian Malloy has ever met
before. In addition to these minor details, there is an animal
called the Blue Cat that acts as a vigilante of one removing
dangerous people and showing up at the right time and then
disappearing. And if that is not enough a Hitler want-to-be shows
up to claim his legacy and Malloy learns that he may hold the
secret to a hundred million in gold taken from German coffers and
removed to Brazil by the Germans just before the end of World War
Two. It is this gold that Max Reynolds now wants to get back as
well as prevent this Nazi want-a-be from creating more political
damage than he already has. Max thinks that the new Hitler my not
be new at all, but the old Hitler in a new skin. If that is the
case and word gets out that the real Hitler has survived the war,
world turmoil will occur. Max's instructions are to make sure that
does not happen. However, first the team of Malloy and company has
to battle a horde of blood thirsty savages lead by a Chief who
never saw a head that he didn't want to shrink. As the war rages
on, Malloy fights the chief assassin, known as the Black Sword, to
the death. Hired by the Germans to kill Hilary' friend, Maria
Batista, Hilary and Malloy seek to prevent the Germans from getting
control of Maria's plantation and the hundred million in gold. To
help him in his effort, in addition to Hilary Kelly, Malloy has
enlisted the support of Crusher and Jeremy and even Max Reynolds
gets into the action. Following every avenue he can think of,
Malloy and Max and forty of their closest friends descend on a lost
city carved deep into the side of a mountain by the Germans during
World War Two that is more an underground fortress than a city. The
man, who now calls himself Adolf Hitler, returns to remove the gold
and return to Germany victorious again and return Germany to its
glory days of old. One thing that the new Hitler didn't count on
was the presence of the Blue Cat. A beast with paws the size of pie
plates, the would-be Hitler doesn't escape the grasp of the Blue C
Lou Malloy never expected to hear from his brother, Sam Malloy and
when he did he never expected it would be under these
circumstances. Ever one to work the angles when it came to making
money, Lou was convinced that his brother was in trouble and wanted
to help, but also did not trust his brother when it came to telling
the truth. Hilary, on the other hand, was not convinced. Lou had
never mentioned a bother and as far as she was concerned he needed
to stay lost. It seemed Sam had bought a sea food fishing operation
in a place called Unalaska. And if that wasn't bad enough, Lou
would later learn that the acquisition was made under illegitimate
means. But that was a personal issue and Lou had been given, as
long as he was there, a small job to do by Max Reynolds at Homeland
Security. It seemed that Russia was working to get Alaska back from
the United States because there was a possibility that they never
paid for it and Malloy and Kelly had to find proof that they did.
In addition, there was another shipment of gold sent by the United
States to back up the payment fiasco, and that had been lost as
well. All these events had taken place between 1868 and 1870 and
had been lost in the events that soon shaped Russia's future with
the execution of Nicholas II and his family and the Bolshevik
Revolution resulting in a failure to follow up on the transaction's
completion. To make things interesting an heir to the great Mongol
leader, Genghis Khan who is called Sala Khan, now wants to restore
the lands of eastern Russia to its prominence on the world
political stage by starting World War Three. To do this he needs to
find a log book that contains program coordinates for a satellite
that will render nuclear weapons obsolete throughout the world.
Because of Malloy's skills in the area of finding things, he is
enlisted by the Department of Homeland Security to find the missing
gold and proof that Alaska was in fact purchased in an arm's length
deal. To do that Malloy and Kelly have to battle a climate of
frozen land, the Bering Sea, a crazed old sea captain who only
wants money and he will do anything to get it, a delusional heir to
a Mongol War Lord who puts absolutely no value on life and will
stop at nothing, even starting World War Three, if need be to get
what he wants and a Russian criminal who seeks his slice of the
deal. But Malloy and Kelly, along with the Crime Bandit team of
Crusher, Blue, Jeremy and a host of new additions to the team,
strike out aboard a land vehicle known as the Snow Cruiser, part
Snow Cat and par tank, to put a stop to what was planned for the
world by this Sala Khan. In the process Hilary and Blue are
kidnapped and Malloy and his team seek to rescue them from Khan's
mountain fortress only for Malloy to find that his brother, Sam
Malloy, is a prisoner as well. Once inside Khan's fortress,
Crusher, doing only what Crusher can do best, wipes out ninety
percent of Khan's weapons and armament by driving a tank known as a
German Panzer VIII Mouse in Khan's weapons storage area crushing
everything in its path. Weighing a hundred and eighty-eight tons,
it is the largest tank in the world. When Khan learns of the damage
that Malloy has done to his plans for the world, Khan is furious
and decides to take even more drastic steps. He kidnaps Hilary
again and threatens to cut off a finger for each day Malloy fails
to bring him the log book with the codes he needs. In the meantime,
Max Reynolds, with the help of the U.S. Navy has assembled the
Seventh Fleet based in Japan to assist on a standby basis. The
clock is ticking and Malloy is running out of time. He then comes
up with the idea to have Jeremy to wipe out the programs fed into
Khan's satellite thereby rending it useless. Malloy is now bent on
vengeance more now than ever and is determined to bring Khan down
permanently for Khan has now made things personal.
Everything was going along as planned for Lou Malloy. He had
figured out a way to get the money he had hidden in a casino that
he and Hilary had robbed, a year ago with Crushers help. However,
like a house of cards, one thing and then another started to happen
along the way. First there was the attempt on his life by a
sergeant in the Timucua Tribal Police Department and then Malloy's
old nemesis, Detective Sal Ramiro, trying to arrest him for crimes
that there was no evidence that Malloy did them in the first place.
In the meantime, Hilary has decided she wants a pet she could call
her own and told Malloy that she wanted a cat. Malloy hated cats,
but agrees to her request because he thinks the cat would not last
a week living on Turtle Point property. But Hilary's cat is no
ordinary house cat. When Malloy learns that it is a black three
hundred pound wild Panther from a neighboring wildlife sanctuary,
he tells Hilary that she had better learn to take care of it.
Naming the big cat, MOJO, Hilary is thrilled, but there is a
problem. MOJO has a female friend show up, a snow leopard that she
names, Pumpkin. Now Malloy has two cats. But nothing is as easy as
it seems. Having gotten the money out of its hiding place and in
his gator hole, Malloy now had to gamble on how he could keep what
he had regardless of the cats. As if dealing with the extra money
he had to hide was not enough, his significant other, Hilary Kelly
has been kidnapped by a vicious killer from Cuba and now Malloy has
to gamble with not only Hilary's life, but Bunny's as well since
she was taken at the same time as Hilary. Lou Malloy did not like
to gamble at anything and yet, here he was putting everything on
the line to ransom Hilary Kelly from the grasp of this vicious
killer who has threatened to kill both Hilary and Bunny unless
Malloy delivers the computer disks and hard drives used in the
manufacturing of counterfeit futures contracts for counterfeit
currency of various countries in the world. To make matters dicey,
a secret black opts group within the U.S. Department of Homeland
Security has made it clear that they want the disks to prevent
financial terrorists from getting their hands on the technology.
With all this happening, Malloy has to travel to Cuba, with the
help of a special team of operatives, including Crusher and the
mysterious Blue, to rescue Hilary and Crusher's wife, Bunny. In the
process, Malloy has to outwit a Greek criminal and two dishonest
multi-millionaires who are after to technology as well and will do
anything necessary to get what they want. The problem for Malloy is
that he never knew he had possession of the technology until after
the second robbery of the same casino that he had robbed fifteen
years ago. Now, even if he wanted to give the Cubans the
technology, he couldn't until Hilary and Bunny were returned to
safety. Up until that point, he didn't know what he had until he
had a computer expert by the name of John Goodman, access the
technology from the disks to learn just what was there. Having
learned that he had something that could cost him his life, as well
as the lives of Hilary, Crusher and Bunny, Malloy knew he had to
take the necessary precautions to safe guard the information.
Things start to pick up at Turtle Point when a team of Miami
Gangbangers try to raid Malloy's property and find the computer
technology. Malloy and his friend, Crusher, fight them off, but
that just starts the ball rolling. Before long, Hilary and Bunny
are kidnapped and the kidnappers are heading to Cuba with Malloy,
Crusher and the mysterious Blue in hot pursuit. Along the way,
Malloy and his team, traveling in a special configured yacht, fight
off a hurricane and battle the kidnappers off the coast of Key West
only to watch the kidnappers escape resulting in Malloy fighting
for Hilary's life and the security of the technology he is sworn to
protect. Traveling to Cuba, Malloy must get Hilary back at all
costs. All in ONLY TWO CATS
Lou Malloy has just maxed out on a fifteen year prison sentence for
the theft of $15 million and just before leaving prison he learns
that his sister is brutally killed. As he is leaving prison, he's
told to keep his nose clean or he would soon be back. As far as
Malloy is concerned all bets were off until he finds his sister's
killer. In the meantime, he has to fight off predators trying to
get their hands on the money he stole and keep from being sent back
to prison trying to protect those dear to him. He catches a break
when he meets up with Hilary Kelly, a private investigator with an
agenda of her own, She has been hired by the insurance company that
paid on the theft claim of the money stolen from the casino by
Malloy. In the course of events, Malloy and Kelly become more than
just friends and Kelly decides to throw in with Malloy. Together
they work to uncover exactly what happened to Malloy's sister and
why. Their search involves a vicious gang led by a vengeful old man
and his crazy son who has his own problems keeping his hands off
other women. To make matters worse, Malloy and Kelly's search is
complicated by the fact that Malloy's sister was really a special
agent with the Department of Home Land Security and she was working
undercover when she was killed trying to locate the whereabouts of
special plates to produce counterfeit currency that if the plates
ended up in the wrong hands, whole banking systems of major foreign
countries could collapse overnight. As Malloy and Kelly race to
find the killer of Malloy's sister, they enlist the help of
Crusher, a pro wrestler who served in the cell next to Malloy at
the Atlanta Penitentiary. The decision is made for Malloy and
company to hit the same casino again that Malloy robbed fifteen
years ago by a special ops unit of the Department of Homeland
Security. The plan is complicated by the fact that the ops unit is
phony setup led by a former agent turned rouge who is backed by
another vicious gang with international contacts intent on getting
their hands on the missing money plates. Malloy decides to go
through with the heist of the casino a second time, but on a
different schedule than planned. If they don't make it they have no
way to return to the real world. They are in a make or break it
race. Read as they race to the finish line and learn if this where
the run ends or the run begins....
Lou Malloy is 18 years old and ready for the world, but is the
world ready for him. His brother Sam has left and his sister wants
to move to Florida with the family. Malloy is having none of it and
on a wild moment decides to hope on a rail-car going he knows not
where. The important thing is that it's not in Kansas. He has a
problem and that problem is money. He doesn't have any until Henry
Lowe, who is in the same rail-car, offers Malloy the deal of a
lifetime. All he has to do is help Lowe rob a casino in Georgia.
With the promise of a big payday, Malloy throws in with the scheme
and seal his fate forever....
