What would you do? You live in small town U.S.A. You're a typical teenager. You just have to make it through each day without horribly embarrassing yourself. You have a normal, uneventful life. You're part of a wonderful, supportive family. Sure, your mother has the power to heal with her hands. But everyone has secrets, right? What would you do? You find out that you have a special power as well. That doesn't make you a freak, right? It's just one more thing you have to incorporate into your life. You just have to keep it hidden, no big deal. What would you do? Your world is about to come crashing down upon you. Just when you think you have a good bead on things. But as many of us already know, life rarely goes according to plan. What would you do?
What is mind dribble? The thoughts that ooze out from that dark corner of your mind and take the form of prose and poems. This collection of mind dribble varies from love to hate, from silence to music. Let me first apologize. Some of the content in this work is pretty cheesy. Some might say vulgar, maybe even violent. Others may determine that some of the writing is just bad. Frankly, I agree. But the point here was to put it out there. Exploring these thoughts that somehow find their way on to paper, dribbling out of some dark corner of the mind intrigues me. They are snapshots of a moment in time that now seems out of place. Maybe they were just attempts at cleverness. Perhaps you will find one that captures your imagination and leads you to daydreaming. Or perhaps you will see yourself in something. We all experience the same feelings one way or another. We all have this connection in our humanity that draws us to a common craziness justified by the day to day grind of survival. But there I go again. Enjoy?
