Martial arts action comedy starring Jackie Chan, Yuen Siu Tien and Hwang Jang Lee. Disobedient young martial artist Wong Fei-hung (Chan) is sent to train under his uncle Beggar (Tien), a wine-guzzling master famous for crippling his students. Desperate to escape his brutal teacher's regime Fei-hung runs away but is confronted and beaten senseless by hired assassin Thunderleg (Lee). Angry and ashamed Fei-hung is forced to return to his drunken master to continue his rigorous training in the art of drunken boxing.
Everyone knows Jackie Chan. Whether it's from Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon, The Karate Kid, or Kung Fu Panda, Jackie is admired by generations of moviegoers for his acrobatic fighting style, comic timing, and mind-bending stunts. In 2016-after fifty-six years in the industry, over 200 films, and many broken bones-he received an honorary Academy Award for his lifetime achievement in film. But at 64 years-old, Jackie is just getting started. Now, in Never Grow Up, the global superstar reflects on his early life, including his childhood years at the China Drama Academy (in which he was enrolled at the age of six), his big breaks (and setbacks) in Hong Kong and Hollywood, his numerous brushes with death (both on and off film sets), and his life as a husband and father (which has been, admittedly and regrettably, imperfect). Jackie has never shied away from his mistakes. Since The Young Master in 1980, Jackie's films have ended with a bloopers reel in which he stumbles over his lines, misses his mark, or crashes to the ground in a stunt gone south. In Never Grow Up, Jackie applies the same spirit of openness to his life, proving time and time again why he's beloved the world over: he's honest, funny, kind, brave beyond reckoning and-after all this time-still young at heart.
Hal Needham co-writes and directs this 1984 car chase comedy starring an all-star cast including Burt Reynolds, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr and Dom DeLuise. Having lost the first Cannonball Run, the Sheik (Jamie Farr) is commanded by his wealthy father to return to the United States and bring honour back to the family name by winning the next race. Many of the participants from the previous outing are brought back to compete...
Star-studded car chase comedy from Burt Reynolds and Hal Needham, the same actor-director partnership behind such classics as 'Hooper' and 'Smokey and the Bandit'. The action focuses on a mixed bunch of people who have come together to take part in an illegal coast-to-coast car race across America. Reynolds plays ace driver J.J. McClure; Dom DeLuise is McClure's superhero partner Captain Chaos; Roger Moore appears as Seymour Goldfarb, a man convinced that he is really the actor Roger Moore; Jackie Chan is a Kung Fu fighting Subaru driver; Jamie Farr is The Sheik; Farrah Fawcett and Adrienne Barbeau are fellow drivers Pamela and Marcia; and Rat Packers Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr play a couple of hard-drinking priests.
Martial arts action film from director Stephn Fung about Teddy (Anthony Wong Chau-Sang), a former secret agent turned chiropractor, struggling to raise his children alone after the death of his wife. He tells stories of his glory days while teaching his children martial arts but they find his tales from the past embarrasing. However, unknown to his children, Teddy still works undercover protecting retired agents and when an evil enemy re-appears and kidnaps him to settle an old score it is up to the children to put their martial arts training into action to get their father back.
Fast-paced Hong Kong action adventure. Set in a land ruled by a vengeful queen (Ying Qu), who insists that all men will be slaves to women, the film follows the journey of two young brothers, Charcoal Head (Jaycee Chan) and Blockhead (Bo-Lin Chen), who come into the possession of a mysterious map. Presuming that the map will lead them to treasure, the boys set out on an adventure in the hope of finding wealth and happiness. They are pursued by Spring (Charlene Choi) and Blue Bird (Gillian Chung), two beautiful female warriors with secret intentions, and quickly discover that the map has led them into danger. Will the boys be able to fight their way to the bottom of the riddle - and past rivals as formidable as the Lord of Armour (Jackie Chan) - to fulfil their destiny?
Historical action drama starring Jackie Chan as the military leader of a revolutionary struggle that seeks to change the course of history. It is 1911 and Sun Yat-Sen (Winston Chao) triggers a revolution against the ruling Qing government, who many see as acting on behalf of foreign powers and doing little to help the vast swathes of the Chinese population living in poverty. Sun appoints Huang Xing (Chan) as his military commander, in recognition of his past exploits. Huang will need to draw on every ounce of his military nous as he attempts to outmanoeuvre the superior forces of the government and lead the revolutionary movement to victory.
